Over the past 1-2 weeks, Hamas has significantly increased their rocket attacks on Israel. Previously they were conducting around 1 attack on Israel every 3-4 weeks, however now that has increased to at least 1 attack daily, including at one point where there were 4 in a day.

Additionally, Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad have been increasing their ambushes, mortar attacks and rocket attacks on Israeli troops inside Gaza, notably in Jabalia and even Rafah (where Hamas has been almost completely eliminated).

This suggests that Hamas has been stockpiling weapons, probably in their remaining tunnel networks, despite their battalions being so heavily degraded.

Expect increased Israeli airstrikes on Gaza in the coming days/weeks, including on the Al-Mawasi humanitarian zone. We have already seen 4 sets of evacuation orders be issued for civilians in different areas of northern and Central Gaza over the past 3 weeks, including areas in the humanitarian zone.

Libya's National Oil Corporation declared force majeure after a number of reservoirs at the Zawiya oil refinery were "severely damaged" early today due to the outbreak of armed clashes between different armed factions in it's vicinity. The damage was caused by a large fire which has now reportedly been contained.

The Zawiya oil refinery is Libya's biggest and is connected to Sharara field, which has a capacity of around 300,000 barrels per day.

Unconfirmed reports of joint American-British airstrikes on the Al-Tuhayat District in Al-Hudaydah Governorate, Yemen. This comes as an increased activity of reconnaissance drones was noted in the Red Sea.

According to the pro-Jubaland military journalist Hassan Mohammed, 967 Somalian government soldiers fled to Kenya to avoid being captured by Jubaland forces, during the battle of Kamboni.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar has today ordered the closure of Israel's embassy in Ireland due to "Anti-Israel policy".

This comes as Ireland announced it would join South Africa's case against Israel at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, which accuses Israel of genocide.

Sa'ar stated that "Ireland's antisemitic actions and rhetoric against Israel are rooted in delegitimization and demonization of the Jewish state and reflect clear double standards."

He also said that "Ireland has crossed all red lines in its treatment of Israel. We will redirect our resources toward advancing bilateral relations with countries based on priorities that reflect how different nations relate to Israel."

At the same time, the opening of an Israeli embassy in Moldova was scheduled for early 2025 following the warming of ties between the two countries. Moldova already maintains an embassy in Tel Aviv.

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna has signed a decree banning Georgian Prime Minister Kobakhidze and 13 other Georgian officials from entering Estonia.

He stated that "the violence committed by the Georgian authorities against protesters, journalists and opposition leaders is unacceptable, criminal and contrary to human rights."

Estonia and Lithuania have also placed sanctions on these same officials.

This comes as the Georgian Dream Party won the parliamentary and - more recently - the presidential election.

An American Navy Mq-4C Triton spy plane is flying near the coasts of Lebanon and Syria. It is likely that its providing intelligence to the Israeli Air Force, as Israeli drones remain active in the skies of Beirut.

At the same time, an Israeli IAI Heron drone is also flying over the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, marking an uptick in the activity of Israeli drones.

Based on recent reports by both the IDF and the Al-Quds brigades, the IDF has begun a limited ground operation into the city of Beit Hanoun in Northern Gaza. This is being carried out under the cover of heavy air and artillery strikes. Many civilians were seen evacuating the city, heading towards the suburbs of Gaza city.

The IDF reported that the IAF and IDF conducted a coordinated attack on a Hamas meeting point in the Beit Hanoun area where an Israeli targeted airstrike struck the area, while ground troops opened fire. An Israeli airstrike on what was probably an ammunition depot in Tartus. The explosion was recorded as a magnitude 3 earthquake on the Richter scale.

Ukrainian formations in Makarivka (South of Velyka Novosilka) are now in an operational encirclement.

There are just 2.9km between forward Russian units and the last supply line out of Kurakhove.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces continue to advance in central Kurakhove and have made significant progress.

After establishing a foothold in the eastern high-rise buildings, Russian forces began attacking at multiple points, overwhelming the limited Ukrainian defenders. They were able to advance towards the main Ukrainian stronghold in School no. 1. Fierce battles broke out for the school, but eventually Ukraine fell back to the city council and surrounding 3-story buildings which also eventually fell.

Russian forces then advanced in the north of the city centre along the highway towards the fish farm. Ukraine then conducted a tank counterattack but failed to make any advances.

The main Ukrainian defence outside the Thermal Power Plant coalesces around the western-most high-rise buildings. There are also some Ukrainian formations still in the main part of the city centre near Sobornyy Avenue and Pushkina street.
