The final battles in the city of Toretsk are currently taking place on the territory of the Toretska mines. There is a small Ukrainian presence in a few blocks of houses nearby, but that likely won't last long.

Results of the Russian Geran-2 drone attacks on Ukraine on the night of January 25, 2025, according to a Pro-Russian Ukrainian with local sources.

Kyiv Oblast:
In Hlevakha, a drone struck the territory of the 10th Aviation Repair and Training Center (ARUS), which served as a repair hub for aviation systems, including maintenance of long-range attack drones.

Hanger facilities previously used for storing UAV components, servicing and testing were destroyed

Diagnostic and testing systems for aviation complex components were damaged

The fire that broke out spread to the production building which contained equipment for testing and debugging control systems.

Cherkasy Oblast:
In Cherkasy city, a drone struck and damaged the PS-330 kV Cherkasskaya substation which distributes and stablises the power supply to industrial enterprises and critical infrastructure facilities in the region.

Two power autotransformers TDTN-200000/330/110 received critical damage. The destruction of oil tanks led to a leak of more than 20 tons of transformer oil and a fire over an area of ​​about 200m².

330 kV open switchgear units (OSU) suffered thermal and mechanical damage, which led to disruptions in the operation of high-voltage lines/

The 330 kV power transmission lines “Cherkasskaya – Kanev” and “Cherkasskaya – Poltava” were automatically disconnected, which caused interruptions in the power supply in the region.

Additionally, a drone struck a 5,000 cubic meter fuel storage tank used for logistical support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was damaged on the territory of the Dneproinvest-Ch oil depot. This facility serves as a logistics hub, providing refueling for armored vehicles and supply vehicles.

Fuel supply and transportation systems are damaged, which could lead to interruptions in the supply of mobile units.

The automated liquid level control system was destroyed.

A fuel leak was detected, but the tank was not completely destroyed.

Additionally, a drone struck and damaged the Cherkasy military airfield (115th aviation commandant's office of the Ukrainian Armed Forces) which serves as a support air base and a reserve site for basing tactical aviation.

Hangar facilities previously used for servicing and sheltering aircraft were destroyed.

Elements of the airfield infrastructure were damaged, including reserve parking areas for aircraft, some of which were equipped with engineering barriers and shelters.

Damage to airfield lighting and flight radio support systems was recorded, including elements of lighting equipment and ground navigation systems.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast:
In Starokostyantyniv, the territory of the reinforced concrete sleeper plant of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, which was used for the repair and restoration of railway tracks involved in military transport was affected (likely not impacted directly).

The roof of the administrative building was destroyed, the ventilation system was damaged.

Glass panes were broken in production buildings where reinforced concrete structures were manufactured and tested.

The area for handling and transporting sleepers was damaged, which complicates restoration work on damaged sections of the railway.

Russian forces have now captured the settlement of Krymske (which is connected to Toretsk) and will be able to attack Ukrainian positions in the Toretska mines from the rear. The battle will be over any day now.

A Russian flag has been raised over the hospital in southern Velyka Novosilka, confirming the capture or elimination of the previously encircled Ukrainian garrison there. The thing is, there are no reports of them surrendering, and only reports of all of them being killed.

Russian forces reportedly advanced in northern Dachne, expanding their foothold, and capturing new positions in low-rise residential areas.

The hostages were handed over to Israel and flown back from the border with Gaza for a medical examination. Meanwhile, buses of Palestinian prisoners are headed for Ramallah, in The West Bank.

Initial reports of an SAF offensive in the Kordofan region in southern Sudan.

The Ukrainian command has transferred the 210th assault regiment "Berlingo" to Kursk Oblast.

There are now reports of Ukrainian POWs being taken after Russian forces captured the school and hospital in southern Velyka Novosilka.

Isn't it funny how everyone has just memory-holed Ukraine's Kursk offensive that took place 3 weeks ago. The fact that Ukraine's offensives went from lasting 3 months, to a few weeks to a couple of days is very telling.

Russian forces have reportedly advanced further into the last Ukrainian stronghold in Toretsk in the form of the Toretska mines which is held by the "Lyut" brigade.

Russian forces now control well over 99% of Toretsk city.

Velyka Novosilka has fallen.

The Democratic Republic of congo has severed all ties with Rwanda following a new rebel M23 offensive on the key eastern city of Goma in the Kivu province of the DRC.

Congolese army spokesman General Sylvain Ekenge stated that "Rwanda is determined to seize the city of Goma,"

This comes as South Africa, Malawi and Uruguay, announced the deaths of 13 of their soldiers serving as peacekeepers in the conflict zone.

U.S. president Donald Trump has lifted the ban put in place by Biden on MK-84 2,000-pound bombs and has instructed the U.S. Department of Defence (DoD) to ship 1,800 of these bombs within a week.
