Explosions in Poltava city

No missiles in the airspace of Ukraine.

Weird day for missiles today. Two combined attacks, and now a larger one is coming in waves. And the Tu-95s still haven't launched missiles. Usually everything is launched within a short period of time.

The Tu-95s are now returning from the Caspian Sea without launching. They are flying on a northerly course.

Unless they launch on the way back, I think the missile attack is over.

Russian forces made two advances in the Chasiv Yar direction, capturing new trench positions.

In the south, Russian forces advanced over the Siversky Donets Canal, capturing the forest on its western bank for the fourth time. They then moved onto the tactical heights, as well as down the highway to Kostyantynivka, capturing trench positions there.

In the north, Russian forces made a smaller advance, but this time towards the Shevchenko district of Chasiv Yar. This is separate to the initial attack towards that district which was slightly further north.

Here, Russian forces captured positions in the forests near the outskirts of Chasiv Yar.

Russian forces significantly expanded their bridgehead on the western bank of the Oskil River, recapturing the village of Novomlynsk.

Not much is known about this advance, but Russian forces advanced from positions in Dvorichna, swiftly moving northeast, where they recaptured Novomlynsk, which was a part of the initial bridgehead. They also took up positions on the heights west of the village, and in the forests to the southwest.

+ ~7.62km² in favour of Russia.

Two more hostages have been transferred from Hamas to the Red Cross, who will now transfer them to the IDF.

🇨🇩⚡- Southern African Development Community, SADC, announces it will withdraw all of its peacekeepers from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The decision came after an emergency summit was held by the SADC countries, after SADC forces took heavy casualties in eastern DR Congo in recent days. In a statement, SADC admitted that "the set goals were not achieved."

Israeli forces continue to bulldoze residential buildings in the Jenin Refugee Camp, West Bank.

At least 48 people have been reported killed and 102 others wounded after the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) shelled the Sabreen Market in Omdurman, west of the Sudanese capital Khartoum.

The Sudanese Armed Forces have restarted offensive operations from Wad Madani in the Al-Jazirah state of Sudan, capturing new towns and villages.

A car bomb exploded next to an SNA military HQ in Manbij city centre (northern Syria), killing three people.

The Ukrainian air force has not released the numbers of shot down missiles today, only stating what was launched.

Hardly any new changes on the frontlines today, so don't expect many map updates for now.

Just a couple of small Russian advances in the east, and some frontline corrections in Ukraine's favour in Kharkiv and Kursk Oblasts.
