Over the past few days, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have launched a massive offensive towards the capital of Khartoum, recapturing thousands of square km.

The offensive was conducted in three main directions. On the eastern bank of the Blue Nile River, the SAF advanced for over 75km up the Wad Madani - Khartoum highway, capturing a series of towns and villages. They also captured the city of Tamboul and the surrounding villages.

On the western bank of the Blue Nile River, the advance was smaller. They were able to capture the town of Al-Hasaheisa and a series of towns and villages.

At the same time, the SAF advanced along the eastern bank of the Nile River, capturing villages along the Rabak - Khartoum highway.

Following the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump stating that 25% import tariffs would be placed on Mexico and Canada, both countries leaders have come out to announce that the tariffs would be delayed, following an agreement reached with Trump.

The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum stated that the tariffs on her country would be delayed by up to a month. In return, Mexico will reinforce its northern border with the U.S. with 10,000 National Guard troops to prevent drugs - especially fentanyl - from crossing over. Trump then confirmed on his Truth Social account that an agreement had been reached, adding that the flow of illegal migrants would also be halted by Mexico's National Guard Troops. During this month, negotiations will take place between a delegation led by the U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent, and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and high-Level representatives of Mexico.

Meanwhile, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that following a call with Trump, the tariffs that were going to be imposed on his country would be delayed for at least 30 days. In exchange, Canada will implement a $1.3 billion border plan, which includes advanced helicopters, enhanced coordination with the U.S., increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl, and the appointment of a fentanyl czar, therefore designating the cartels as foreign terrorist organisations, as well as ensuring 24/7 eyes on the border. The launching of a joint Canadian-U.S. strike force was also announced with the aim of combatting organised crime, as well as fentanyl and money laundering. Trump later confirmed this, adding that the 25% tariffs on Canada could be cancelled if a financial deal can be structured with Canada.

U.S. weapons shipments to Ukraine were briefly paused in recent days, before resuming over a weekend as the Trump administration debated its policy towards the Ukrainian government, according to Reuters, citing four people "briefed on the matter."

Two of the sources apparently said that shipments restarted after the White House pulled back on its initial assessment to stop all aid to Ukraine.

One of the sources, a reported U.S. official, said that "there are factions inside the administration that are at odds over the extent to which the U.S. should continue to aid Kyiv's war effort with weapons from U.S. stocks."

For the first time, the IDF has deployed several "Eitan" armoured fighting vehicles (AFVs) to the West Bank city of Jenin, amid a major military operation against militant infrastructure in the Jenin Refugee Camp.

The last time heavy armoured vehicles were deployed in Jenin was during the 2002 Intifada.

This comes as Israel expands their offensive, dubbed "Operation Iron Wall", to nearby the cities of Tulkarm and Tubas, as well as the nearby towns of Qabatiya, Al-Fara'a and Tamoun, among others.

In the northern part of the southern Oskil bridgehead, both Ukrainian and Russian forces have been making progress.

Over an unknown period of time, Ukrainian forces launched a series of counterattacks, seizing the initiative, and re-entering the village of Zahryzove from the south. After gaining a foothold, they advanced northwards, clearing Russian positions in the houses. The forests right next to the Oskil River remain in the grey zone, however.

After recapturing Zahryzove, Ukrainian forces consolidated control over their positions, before launching a series of attacks on the village of Kruhlyakivka. Here, Russian forces put up much more resistance, slowing the Ukrainian advance. Nevertheless, the southern portion of the village was captured by Ukraine.

The frontline was also corrected to the east of Zahryzove, with Russian forces confirmed to be in control of a treeline on the eastern approaches to the settlement. There was footage showing Ukrainian and Russian soldiers in close quarters combat in the eastern houses of Zahryzove, but some are suggesting that this is older footage. For now - just to be safe - I have placed it in the grey zone.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces continued to expand their bridgehead on the western bank of the Zherebets River.

They advanced along the tacitcal heights from positions in the treelines, to new treelines positions northeast of the village of Kolodyazi, capturing them along with a small grove. A Russian presence to the northwest was also recorded, although it is unclear if any new positions have been consolidated there yet.

This advance suggests that Russian forces are attempting to attack Kolodyazi from the north, and potentially even bypass it from the west, although if they were to advance south from their new positions marked in the yellow on the map, they would be going straight downhill to the northeastern part of the village. Attacking further west would require them to advance through a gulley and back, uphill, onto the next set of heights.

In western Donetsk Oblast, Russian forces continued to make progress near the village of Nadiivka.

They advanced from positions in the treelines south of the village, capturing new positions in the orchards. A large grey zone has also been recorded, extending to include around half of the forests west of Nadiivka.

This isn't a significant advance and more has the aim of levelling the frontline for future assault operations, while continuing the creation of a buffer zone south and southwest of Nadiivka.

In western Donetsk Oblast, Russian forces completed the capture of Sribne, and entered the village of Zaporizhzhya.

After establishing control over the southern half of Sribne, Russian forces went on to clear out the main Ukrainian positions in the northeast of the village, by advancing from the south, and possibly the north.

They then began attempting to break through Ukrainian positions in the eastern part of Zaporizhzhya, slowly moving through houses, taking up positions there.

Russian forces continue to make progress in the eastern part of Andriivka, and have begun assault operations from a new direciton.

While the main attacks occurred from the initial Russian foothold in the northeastern houses of the village, Russian forces have now begun attacking from the newly captured large trench fortification on the eastern approaches to Andriivka. They advanced west, quickly gaining a foothold in the first houses, and begun to push deeper along three streets, taking up new positions further west.

Russian forces are continuing to advance in the salient west of Kurakhove, making important advances in the village of Dachne.

Russian forces advanced from positions in the northern part of the village, moving generally in a southwestern direction towards the highway, capturing the main park, as well as three more residential streets.

Ukrainian forces still likely maintain limited positions in the school and single high-rise building on the northwestern part of Dachne, but once that falls, a withdrawal of Ukrainian formations from the western and southwestern parts of the village will become more difficult than it already is.

+ ~0.62km² in favour of Russia.

In the Kherson direction, Russian forces recently advanced over the Staryi Dnipro River.

They advanced from positions near the Konka River, establishing a bridgehead on Bolshyi Potemkin Island, capturing positions in the dachas. They then advanced northeast, capturing more houses.

This area was previously in the grey zone, with little to no Ukrainian presence. The main issue with making advances here is establishing forward troop concentration points in the open and often soggy areas (depending on the tide and weather) as well as actually crossing the rivers. Ukraine also has a drone superiority on this sector of the frontline as well as great coordination between units. This allows them to methodically kill groups of Russian soldiers who cross the river who usually lack Electronic Warfare (EW).
