In western Donetsk Oblast, Russian forces advanced, reaching the northern approaches to Preobrazhenka.

Yesterday, I reported that the Russians advanced west through the fields, and took up positions in the northern part of Preobrazhenka, but this was then clarified to have taken place as a larger advance from the north, where Russian forces advanced from positions southwest of Nadiivka.

They were able to advance down one treeline, down a perpendicular one, and also gained a foothold in the next treeline over.

+ ~1.73km² in favour of Russia.

In the Bahatyr direction, Russian forces closed the salient west of Kurakhove, encircling a small group of Ukrainian soldiers in the treelines west of Dachne.

Russian armoured columns advanced north from near Zelenivka, with infantry taking up positions in the treelines there. They also captured positions in the southeastern and eastern parts of Ulaky, with most of the village now being under Russian control, or in the grey zone.

We will likely see the fall of Ulaky and then perhaps Kostyantynopil in the coming days, with the frontline falling back towards Bahatyr.

+ ~2.42km² in favour of Russia.

In the Komar direction, Russian forces made significant progress, crossing the Mokry Yaly River, and entering the village of Novoocheretuvate.

Russian forces advanced up the treeline on the eastern bank of the Mokri Yaly River, before crossing at the bridge, and taking up positions in the first houses of Novoocheretuvate. They also advanced up a treeline on the western bank of the river, after making another crossing there too.

+ ~3.55km² in favour of Russia.

M23 rebels have captured the South Kivu capital of Bukavu, in eastern DR Congo.

For those wondering, my reports on Ukrainian advances are based ONLY off reports from Russian sources, and geolocations.

The pocket west of Kurakhove has been cleared by Russian forces. There are Ukrainian POWs.

🇨🇩🇷🇼🇺🇬 - Burundi threatens preemptive military action against the M23 and Rwanda if the M23 advance any further south towards its borders

M23 advanced 105km in 18 days, from Minova to Bukavu. M23 have exactly 105km from its current positions to Uvira, the eastern DR Congo town that borders Burundi's economic capital Bujumbura.

The IDF has withdrawn from all areas of southern Lebanon, except for 5 key positions, as marked on the map.

These positions are:
1. Labounah-Alama al-Shaab forests
2. Jabal Balat, between Marwahin and Ramieh
3. Jabal al-Deir in the south of Aitaroun
4. The newly established base along the Marbakah-Houla road
5. Tel al-Hamamis in the south of Khiam

RSF collapse continues across multiple sectors of Sudan, including in Khartoum and Kordofan.

Ukrainian forces in Kostyantynopil (west of the former Kurakhove pocket) have been operationally encircled (again).

In the southwestern part of the Kursk salient, Russian forces continued their offensive towards Sudzha, and completed the capture of most of Sverdlikovo.

After expanding their bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Loknya River, Russian forces advanced south and captured a series of agricultural buildings and forest planatations, pushing Ukrainian forces to the neighbouring treeline. The grey zone now extends to the international border.

Russian forces are still clearing a few houses in the southwestern part of the village, where there are a few Ukrainian soldiers in the basements, however, the village will likely be fully captured in the coming hours, if it hasn't been already.

This advance means that Russian forces now have a much more solidified bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Loknya River. While it is still possible for Ukraine to push them back across, for now it can be used as a staging ground for attacks south of the village of Lebedevka and towards the Sumy - Sudzha highway.

Russian forces made a small advance in the northern part of their bridgehead on the western bank of the Oskil River.

They advanced from positions southeast of Yampolivka, capturing a treeline on the tactical heights. The goal of this advance was to level out the frontline in the north of the bridgehead, allowing for future advances further north.

+ ~2.11km² in favour of Russia.

On the northern Ukrainian bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Oskil River, Ukrainian forces advanced, recapturing a treeline.

Russian forces retreated from their positions for unknown reasons, and Ukrainian forces quickly moved in, taking them under their control. As this treeline is on the tactical heights, Ukrainian forces now have partial fire control over the village of Ivanivka to the east.

+ ~0.70km² in favour of Ukraine.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, Russian forces advanced, capturing a Ukrainian forest stronghold.

After failing to capture the trenches by the highway to the north, Russian forces advanced south, capturing the forests, along with the stronghold dubbed "crab". This forced the AFU to retreat across the open fields to Stupochky, where they assumed a defensive posture in preparation for Russian assaults on the village.

+ ~0.83km² in favour of Russia.

Russian forces advanced in the Toretsk direction, entering the village of Novospaske from the south.

After being pushed out of their bridgehead on the western bank of the Kryvyi Torets River in eastern Novospaske, Russian forces began attacking from the south. They were able to gain a foothold in the southern houses, and quickly expanded it, capturing positions on several different streets.

+ ~0.58km² in favour of Russia.

On the eastern flank of Pokrovsk, Russian forces made a small advance, taking up new treeline positions near Zelene Pole.

They advanced northeast from their positions inside Zelene Pole, capturing a treeline, and reaching the intersection with the next treeline. It is becoming more and more clear that Russia is trying to develop an offensive on Tarasivka, by attacking from the flanks.

+ ~0.48km² in favour of Russia.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces advanced and recaptured the village of Pishchane.

They advanced from positions east of Vovkove, recapturing the forest plantations, before advancing into Pishchane from two directions.

In the south, Russian forces advanced into the village from the low-lying ground, taking up positions in the first houses. They then advanced deeper, capturing the rest of the residential area.

In the east, Russian forces once again entered the industrial zone under heavy Ukrainian FPV drone strikes. They panned out, clearing the Ukrainian positions there, therefore completing the capture of the village.

+ ~2.89km² in favour of Russia.

On the western flank of Pokrovsk, both Ukrainian and Russian forces advanced, taking up various positions.

Ukrainian forces recaptured the Kotlyne mines. This occurred a few days ago, and was done by moving down the railway line, and attacking into the industrial zone from the southeast. They also advanced down the treeline to the north.

Russian forces meanwhile restarted assault operations after a lull in activity, capturing a treeline northwest of Kotlyne.

As for the situation in Kotlyne itself, it is likely that Ukrainian forces were unable to consolidate any positions in the main part of the village, however due to a lack of reports, it will remain in the grey zone for now.

+ ~0.89km² in favour of Ukraine.
+ ~0.70km² in favour of Russia.

In the Bahatyr direction, Russian forces marginally advanced, capturing new treeline positions.

They advanced from the intersection of two treelines, and moved further west along the tactical heights, taking up new positions in a treeline and a parallel forest plantation.

This further secures a buffer zone north of Andriivka, preventing Ukrainian forces from maintaining fire control over the western part of the village.
