➡️ I am grateful to Trump and the people of the United States for their help. They helped us survive.➡️ We are ready to sign the rare earths agreement. But this is not enough. Maybe I don't know something and Trump has a plan to stop Putin.➡️ I still don't understand what I did wrong in the meeting with Trump? I will not apologize for anything.➡️ My people just want to hear that America is on our side, not on Russia's side.. I cannot change our position towards the Russians, they are killers, Putin and the Russian people are our enemies.➡️ We are ready for peace, but we must be in a position of strength.

Zelenskyy's statements in an exclusive interview with FOX:
• As soon as the US gives guarantees, we will proceed to diplomacy;
• If you had the opportunity to return to the White House right now, would you return? — No;
• Good words to Putin will not change the reality: Putin and Russia are enemies for Ukrainians. But this does not mean that Ukrainians do not want peace. Ukrainians want guarantees and to hear that the US is with Ukraine, not with Russia;
• The first security guarantees will be Trump's clear words that the US is on Ukraine's side;
• We are ready for peace. But we must be in a strong position - to have a strong army, to know that our allies are with us;
• On the question of his resignation: this decision can only be made by the people of Ukraine;
• Was the fight in the White House planned in advance? — I don't know;
• When big politicians say: "Ukraine is destroyed, soldiers have fled, Ukraine has lost millions of people, its president is a dictator"... I don't want to lose our big partners - the USA. I said: "Please be careful with the numbers". We don't have millions of losses. There are no territories - this is someone's home... When they started repeating these things - these are not good things between partners. With all due respect to the Vice President;
• Do you think the public debate in the Oval Office in front of the media benefited Ukrainians? — You know, we can't change our Ukrainian attitude towards Russia. They are murderers to us.
• We don't have any million losses;
• Can they be saved? relationship with Trump? — Yes, I think so;
• Is Trump too close to Putin? — Trump said today that he is in the middle. But I would like him to be on our side.

Compilation of Zelensky and Trump's statements during their talks at The White House earlier today.
It started off in a good mood with Trump shaking hands with Zelensky saying "He's all dressed up today". He later on complimented Zelensky's clothing again.
Zelensky said "I think Trump will not stop supporting Ukraine," while Trump said "We will have arms to [send to] Ukraine. Hopefully we won't have to send much," however he reiterated his belief that a ceasefire agreement is inevitable.
Trump then goes on to say that Zelensky is a "great guy", and that Ukrainian soldiers have been "unbelievably brave", crediting Zelensky, his generals and soldiers. "It's been very hard fighting, very tough fighting. You have to be very proud of them," he said.
Then Zelensky and JD Vance began arguing, with Vance claiming Ukraine has no men left. Trump intervenes and comments that Zelensky should be grateful to them (Trump and Vance).
Trump then goes on to say that Ukraine does not have enough troops, adding "You can't tell us whether I want a ceasefire or not."
He then made the statement "You either make a deal or we are out."
Trump went on to say, "If it weren't for our weapons, this war would be over very quickly," and that "You [Zelensky] are showing disrespect to our country. I know you are not winning."
Both then agreed to end the conference early and cancelled the press conference that was planned for after the meeting.
There were also various statements made by both parties. I will put them below:
Trump: "Once we make a deal, it will be over. Russia will not come back."
Zelensky: "Putin violated ceasefire with Ukraine 25 times."
Zelensky: "We will never accept a ceasefire alone. Russia will violate it, we need guarantees."
Zelensky: "Putin must pay for Ukraine's restoration."
Trump: "I've spoken to him (Putin) many times, we spoke a couple of days ago,"
Trump: "We are on the brink of World War 3, you can't dictate rules to us and say, 'I want this, I want that', you can't say 'I don't want to stop the war'"
Trump: "Either we sign this deal, or you walk out and fight your own war, you show no gratitude-"

There was no need for [Zelensky] to go in there and become antagonistic ... I think he should apologize for wasting our time for a meeting that was gonna end the way it did!

New Zealand remains steadfast in its support for Ukraine as it defends itself in a war that Russia started.
It's mounting the defence of a proud, democratic and sovereign nation, but also the defence of international law.
