In the Toretsk direction, Azov is continuing their counterattacks and forced a Russian withdrawal from the village of Novospaske and most of Shcherbynivka.

Ukrainian forces from Azov attacked south down all of the streets in the villages, moving down both banks of the Kryvyi Torets River, resulting in Russian forces pulling back to Leonidivka and the southernmost part of Shcherbynivka. Northern Leonidivka is already in the grey zone.

+ ~1.89km² in favour of Ukraine.

Sneak peak of a possible future map animation that I might make. Let's see how this battle plays out, and I'll decide whether to post it or not at the end.

Update from Kursk:

Russian forces continued their offensive and have made significant progress in a number of directions.

In the east, a Russian column advanced down the R200 highway to Sudzha and linked up with the remnants of the soldiers from the gas pipeline. This new connection in the lines allowed Russia to begin a new attack to the northwest, where they advanced along the windbreaks on either side of the railway tracks, and entered the eastern part of the village of Kubatkin.

Kubatkin, and the neighbouring village of Zazulevka were both quickly captured, therefore trapping Ukrainian forces inside the Ivashkovskii forest, and cutting them off from the rest of Ukrainian-controlled Kursk Oblast.

Additionally, Russian forces advanced from the east, clearing empty Ukrainian positions in the forest plantations, and captured the village of Mykhailovka after attacking from two directions. They also advanced from the northeast, and captured the village of Pravda, pushing any remaining Ukrainian forces into Ivashkovskii (which is most likely in the grey zone) and the adjacent forest. The nearby treelines were also captured.

Further north, Russian forces captured the stronghold village of Malaya Loknya, raising their flag over the communications tower. This means that Viktorovka and Nikolskii are in the grey zone, along with a large area east of the Malaya Loknya River.

And in the west, Russian forces attacked the settlement of Loknya, capturing it, and the nearby treelines and forested area.

+ ~55.43km² in favour of Russia.

Ukrainian forces continued to advance in Toretsk, and have recaptured key positions in the city.

Near the city centre, after a Russian counterattack recaptured the high-rise buildings by the stadium, Ukrainian forces counterattacked and captured them again, along with the stadium. They also seized a series of positions in the adjacent private residential area.

Additionally, northwestern Toretsk, Ukrainian forces expanded their zone of control to include further parts of the residential area there and a small terykon on the approaches to the city.

+ ~1.10km² in favour of Ukraine.

A few days ago, Ukrainian forces counterattacked on the western flank of Pokrovsk, and re-entered the village of Kotlyne.

They advanced from the north, recapturing a treeline, before branching off down the road to the east, entering the northwestern houses of Kotlyne, where they took up positions. Ukrainian forces also captured the nearby small, forested area and a section of the treeline on the edge of the village.

+ ~3.52km² in favour of Ukraine.

In western Donetsk Oblast, Russian forces continued their assault operations and completed the capture of the village of Kostyantynopil.

Russian infantry advanced from positions in the southwestern part of the settlement, and due to the fact that Ukrainian forces were operationally encircled there, the Russians managed to quickly clear out the positions, likely taking many of the Ukrainian soldiers as POWs.

+ ~4.12km² in favour of Russia.

I was wondering, if I were to set up a telegram channel for which you have to pay to be in for extra content (e.g. Ukraine map animations, more detailed military aircraft monitoring, extra and quicker conflict coverage, etc), what should I set a monthly price at? That’s if, of course, any of you would be interested in paying anything for that lol.

The thing is, I want to do something like this, but I don’t want to put the price too high and have people pay me more than they should. I’m terrible when it comes to finding a balance between too expensive and free. Of course, if I were to do this, it wouldn’t take away from my content here or on twitter, but it would be a small source of income for me to help with costs when it comes to my reporting and other general things.

It's just a thought, but leave a comment below saying what you’d think would be a good price, or what you would pay if I were to do that (whether that be 0, or something more).

Alright I made a paid channel. Not sure how many people will pay for this, but its $3 USD per month (or more if you want to support more). Essentially you get quicker updates from other conflicts that you otherwise wouldn't get, map animations for key battles, and military aircraft movements. Basically a whole bunch of stuff you wouldn't see on this channel.

You can access it via
@AMK_Mapping_bot
Or by going to this link

I have already tested the payment process and it works, but if you have any difficulties please DM me at
@AMK_Mapping1.

P.S. there's already a few posts on there. I'm about to sleep, so more will come later.

All news will continue as normal on here though!

NOT WORKING RIGHT NOW, WILL FIX SOON

Payment methods aren't working lol, give me a sec to fix it. I added stripe but it disappeared

Stripe just isn't connecting for some reason. I'll try to get Paypal to work tomorrow, but for now you won't be able to access the channel. Apologies everyone! I'll do my best to fix it when I'm more awake.
