There is a Russian reconnaissance drone operating on the outskirts of Sumy City.

In the Sumy direction, Russian forces continued eliminate the remnants of Ukraine's Kursk salient, and have made significant progress, reaching the international border.

Russian forces advanced in several directions. In the north, they moved down the road from the village of Goncharovka, and captured a large section of it. Russian forces also advanced from the village of Melevoi, completing the capture of the forest to the west of the settlement.

Further south, Russian forces advanced down the middle of the main forest, southwest of Melevoi, and reached the international border. They also branched out to capture the rest of this forest, taking up various new positions.

Additionally, Russian forces advanced down from this forest, capturing further forested areas, and also moved from positions north of the village of Guevo, and are beginning to outflank the settlement from the west.

A lot of these new positions are on the tactical heights, which will allow Russia to exert fire control over parts of the border area and Ukrainian-controlled Kursk Oblast. It also complicates the tactical position of Guevo, which is Ukraine's main strongpoint in kursk Oblast right now and protects the village of Gornal.

In the Siversk direciton, Russian forces resumed their assault operations, and captured a number of trench positions.

Russian forces advanced from their positions in a treeline near the regional border between Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, moved down the treeline, and branched off onto another treeline, capturing them both.

They then attacked in the direction of the field trenches north of Verkhnokamyanske that they previously had lost due to Ukrainian counterattacks, and recaptured them.

As the majority of these positions are on the tactical heights, it will allow Russian forces to further exert fire control over the Ukrainian groupings in the ruins of Verkhnokamyanske, and increase the quality of their surveillance.

In Toretsk, Russian forces made significant progress in recapturing lost parts of the city, and have mostly pushed Ukrainian forces out of the northern neighbourhoods.

Russian forces first began attacking the high-rise buildings near the stadium. They captured them, as well as the surrounding areas, including the three-story buildings, the residential area and the stadium itself.

They then advanced from positions in the city centre, towards the terykon on the approaches to Toretsk, capturing the rest of the private sector. Russian forces also advanced in Krymske, and took up positions in residential streets, as well as in the southern part of the Toretska mines.

Russian forces continued their assault operations in the Komar direction, and are making incremental progress.

Russian forces advanced in two main areas here. In the northeast, they advanced up three treelines, capturing positions there, with the grey zone now reaching the southern approaches to the village of Vesele. They also advanced from positions in Burlatske, capturing a small treeline.

Meanwhile in the southwest, Russian forces advanced up two treelines, capturing new positions on the tactical heights northeast of the village of Novosilka.
