A fire broke out in Chernihiv after a Russian Geran-2 drone struck its target there.

The IDF has begun ground operations in western Rafah and has ordered civilians of the Tal al-sultan district and surrounding areas to evacuate north.

In the Sumy direction, Russian forces crossed the international border in a third place and have entered the village of Volodymyrivka.

Russian forces advanced south down the road from the village of Gordeevka, crossing the international border and entering the forested on the northern outskirts of Volodymyrivka.

Russian forces then moved further south, entering the first houses of Volodymyrivka, pushing Ukrainian forces to the central part of the village.

Additionally, they occupied some positions in the forest plantations on the international border, west of the village of Troitskoe.

In the Vovchansk direction, Russian forces made progress in the eastern part of the city, once again recapturing positions in the ruins of houses there.

They advanced down Korolenka and Khliboroba streets, reaching Stepova Street. Russian forces advanced down Stepova Street, clearing out Ukrainian positions.

Additionally, Russian forces advanced further down Khliboroba Street, reaching Kotsiubynskoho Street and Osypenka Street, capturing positions along them too. This significantly undermines Ukraine's defensive position on the northern bank of the Vovcha River, especially around Zernova Street.

Correction of the frontline in the Kupyansk direction in favour of Ukraine.

At least two weeks ago, Ukrainain forces advanced from positions in central Petropavlivka, completing the capture of the village. They also crossed the Hnylytsya River in one, maybe two places and captured part of the forest southwest of the village of Synkivka. The southern half of Synkivka is now in the grey-zone.

Additionally, the frontline was corrected further east, with Ukrainian forces in firm control of the eastern-most houses of Petropavlivka.

+ ~5.44km² in favour of Ukraine.

In the southern Ukrainian Oskil Bridgehead, Ukrainian forces counterattacked and made substantial progress.

In the north, Ukrainian forces attacked from positions in the village of Zelenyi Hai, moving through the treelines on the tactical heights towards the village of Vyshneve. They branched out to further treelines, capturing more positions. Additionally, the Russian spearhead towards the village of Borovska Andriivka was eliminated, with Ukrainian forces recapturing positions in the forest plantations, before advancing to and capturing a treeline to the north. Forest plantations were also captured east of Zelenyi Hai.

They grey-zone here now extends to the villages of Stepny and Vyshneve.

Further south, Ukrainian forces advanced through the treelines to Nadiya and captured the village, along with the adjacent forest, and three nearby treelines.

+ ~14.15km² in favour of Ukraine.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces continued to make significant progress in their bridgehead on the western bank of the Zherebets river, expanding their zone of control.

Russian forces advanced for over 3.1 km along a treeline, while also advancing through the forests to the north, all of which were captured. Additionally, Russian forces captured positions in treelines in eastern Luhansk Oblast.

Russian forces also marginally advanced further north, capturing a few more positions on the tactical heights west of the village of Novolyubivka.

+ ~7.80km² in favour of Russia.

In the Chasiv Yar direction, Russian forces have made progress in the southwestern part of the city, entering the Shevchenko district.

A few days ago, Russian forces crossed through the forest plantations in the grey-zone west of the Tsentralnyy lake, and entered the first houses of the Shevchenko district. They then pushed further, capturing 5 streets, with Ukrainian forces attempting to hold a defence at Mykolaivska Street.

Additionally, Russian forces captured a few buildings south of the city centre.

An Israeli drone strike on a car killed one person in the village of Aita Al Chaeb, southern Lebanon.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces restarted assualt operations and made substantial progress in eliminating the Ukrainian salient north of Andriivka.

Russian forces advanced in three main areas. In the west, Russian forces advanced west down one treeline as well as down two other treelines, capturing positions along them. They then pushed southwest, reaching some forest plantations, in which Russian forces gained a foothold on. Two other treelines further east were also captured.

In the east, Russian forces captured a treeline south of the village of Yasenove, and also captured further treeline positions northwest of the village of Slovyanka.

In the south, Russian forces made smaller gains, but were still able to capture treeline positions along the Pokrovsk - Andriivka highway.

This means that Russian forces are now in full control of the highway that runs from Donetsk City, through Marinka to Kurakhove, and then to Kostyantynopil and Andriivka, before moving north to Shevchenko (south of Pokrovsk). While this can't be used for logistics yet due to the proximity of Ukrainian forces, it is a significant step towards significantly increasing the available options for Russian logistics, as well as the overall quality of it.

The IDF claimed that it has killed the deputy commander of the Gaza Brigade and the commander of the Shujaiyya Battalion.

Palestinian sources earlier confirmed the death of the commander of the Shujaiyya battalion. The Shujaiyya battalion is known as one of, if not the strongest battalions in the Gaza Brigade.

As for the deputy commander of the Gaza Brigade, this has not been confirmed. The Gaza Brigade covers all of Gaza city from the edge of Jabalia to the Neztarim Corridor.
