In the Lyman direction, Russian forces continued to make significant progress in their bridgehead on the western bank of the Zherebets river, expanding their zone of control.
Russian forces advanced for over 3.1 km along a treeline, while also advancing through the forests to the north, all of which were captured. Additionally, Russian forces captured positions in treelines in eastern Luhansk Oblast.
Russian forces also marginally advanced further north, capturing a few more positions on the tactical heights west of the village of Novolyubivka.

In the Chasiv Yar direction, Russian forces have made progress in the southwestern part of the city, entering the Shevchenko district.
A few days ago, Russian forces crossed through the forest plantations in the grey-zone west of the Tsentralnyy lake, and entered the first houses of the Shevchenko district. They then pushed further, capturing 5 streets, with Ukrainian forces attempting to hold a defence at Mykolaivska Street.
Additionally, Russian forces captured a few buildings south of the city centre.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces restarted assualt operations and made substantial progress in eliminating the Ukrainian salient north of Andriivka.
Russian forces advanced in three main areas. In the west, Russian forces advanced west down one treeline as well as down two other treelines, capturing positions along them. They then pushed southwest, reaching some forest plantations, in which Russian forces gained a foothold on. Two other treelines further east were also captured.
In the east, Russian forces captured a treeline south of the village of Yasenove, and also captured further treeline positions northwest of the village of Slovyanka.
In the south, Russian forces made smaller gains, but were still able to capture treeline positions along the Pokrovsk - Andriivka highway.
This means that Russian forces are now in full control of the highway that runs from Donetsk City, through Marinka to Kurakhove, and then to Kostyantynopil and Andriivka, before moving north to Shevchenko (south of Pokrovsk). While this can't be used for logistics yet due to the proximity of Ukrainian forces, it is a significant step towards significantly increasing the available options for Russian logistics, as well as the overall quality of it.

Hey, to the pro Russians here, if you don’t like me reporting Ukrainian advances because it hurts your feelings then leave this channel. Go reinforce your echo chamber. Just because Russia is winning, it doesn’t mean everything is perfect for them.
To the Pro-Ukrainians here, if you don’t like me reporting Russian advances because it hurts your feelings then leave this channel. Go reinforce your echo chamber. Ukraine isn’t winning and their situation is far from perfect.
Thank you to those who stay here despite me reporting successes from both sides.

The IDF claimed that it has killed the deputy commander of the Gaza Brigade and the commander of the Shujaiyya Battalion.
Palestinian sources earlier confirmed the death of the commander of the Shujaiyya battalion. The Shujaiyya battalion is known as one of, if not the strongest battalions in the Gaza Brigade.
As for the deputy commander of the Gaza Brigade, this has not been confirmed. The Gaza Brigade covers all of Gaza city from the edge of Jabalia to the Neztarim Corridor.

A few hours ago, an Israeli suicide drone struck the surgery department of the Nasser medical complex in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
The attack killed a member of Hamas’ political bureau and his brother, with Palestinian sources reporting at least three other people killed and a number of others wounded.
The director of the Nasser medical complex announced that the surgery department would be closed and the remaining undamaged beds and equipment have been evacuated.
The Nasser medical complex is the largest functioning hospital in the Gaza Strip and the primary location for Palestinians in the city of Khan Younis which has been under significantly intensified airstrikes, artillery shelling and drone attacks in the past 24 hours.

(From my twitter account)
I've been thinking, since the new Belgorod operation with the Ukrainian command wasting EVEN MORE lives on something that is doomed to fail, I'm done with having Ukrainian flags in my name.
While it was meant to represent my support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and not the government, most people won't get that, and at this point it's just discrediting my work. I was stupid to keep it there for as long as it has been.
I reiterate my support for *most* of the AFU, but the Ukrainian government is not interested in peace, and they certainly DO NOT care about the lives of their soldiers.
I'm also further in the process of distancing myself from most of the Pro-Ukrainian community as the vast majority of westerners who support Ukraine have a very limited and surface-level understanding of geopolitics and war.
I've done some further research and thinking on this war (and its causes), but I won't talk about any conclusions I have made yet.
The Ukrainian flag trim will remain in my profile picture because to be honest, I think it looks cool design-wise, and it's a little different to having it in your name. It more represents that I'm focusing on reporting on Ukraine, rather than supporting the Ukrainian government.
I'm looking forward to continuing to provide you all with accurate and interesting reports going into the future and hopefully beyond the end of the war in Ukraine.
Reporting, covering and learning about geopolitics and wars is my passion, and I love what I do. I feel like I don't thank all of you enough for getting me to where I am today - I couldn't have done it without all of you. It has also certainly changed my perspective from 2 years ago when I was delusional about most things Ukraine-related and had a very limited knowledge base.
The past year has been one of the craziest of my life, with so many changes online and offline. I certainly could not have predicted 1 year ago that I would be where I am now.

In the Belgorod direction, Ukrainian forces are continuing their offensive and have significantly expanded their zone of control in Belgorod Oblast.
Ukrainian forces advanced in two main areas. In the east, they advanced from their treeline positions on the Russian side of the border, and moved north towards the village of Demidovka. They branched off onto the perpendicular treelines to protect their eastern flank, and entered the southern houses of Demidovka. Ukrainian forces were able to capture positions there, as well as in some agricultural buildings, and pushed the centre of the village into the grey-zone. Most of these newly captured positions are on the tactical heights.
Further west, Ukrainian forces crossed the border from the village of Prokhody, and captured a forested area in Belgorod Oblast. They also crossed the border from the village of Myropilske, and captured a treeline on the border. They then pushed further into Belgorod Oblast, and occupied positions in the forests in the low-lying ground next to the Udava River.
+ ~7.24km² in favour of Ukraine.
