In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces marginally advanced, taking up new positions northwest of the village of Pishchane.
After recapturing Pishchane and consolidating their positions, Russian forces began attacking northwest through the fields towards the railway line, where they took up positions in the windbreaks on either side of the railway tracks.
It is important to keep in mind that this exact same move was made prior to the Ukrainian attacks which resulted in the capture of Pishchane, so the Russian positions here may be fairly precarious, especially considering Ukraine's significant drone coverage in this area which will hinder logistics and make the position dangerous considering its small area.
+ ~0.21km² in favour of Russia.

Both Russian and Ukrainian forces are making progress on the western flank of Pokrovsk, capturing various positions amid back-and-forth fighting.
In the north, following a Ukrainian counterattack, Russian forces recaptured the rest of the forest plantations northwest of the chalk quarry before attacking onto and capturing the chalk quarry itself. With these regained positions on the high-ground, Russian forces began attacking from the chalk quarry and recaptured a treeline south of the railway line, taking up positions there.
In Solone, Ukrainian forces were able to send in reinforcements to their positions in the treeline and first houses of the village. They pushed deeper into the settlement, capturing the central houses. Russian forces are now holding out in the eastern houses.
In Uspenivka, following Ukrainian forces recapturing the village, over the past couple of weeks, Russian assault detachments have been advancing west through the village under the cover of dense artillery fire and FPV drone strikes. They were able to capture the first street, before moving to the soccer field and adjacent 3-story building.
From there they attacked west to the central street, where they captured positions in the houses there. They then began attacking the westernmost street, seizing the northern and southern ends of it after attacking through the fields. Russian forces attempted to squeeze Ukrainian soldiers out of the central part of the street, but were unsuccessful in doing so, and Ukrainian forces retained control over 5 houses there.
Ukraine then brought in reinforcements through the fields and began launching counterattacks. The first ones were likely unsuccessful, but eventually they began making progress to the north and south and were able to push Russian forces from the rest of the western street.

Russian forces advanced in western Donetsk Oblast, taking up new treeline positions southeast of the village of Rozlyv.
Russian forces advanced up three treelines, taking up positions along each of them. They also captured a 4th treeline running from east to west, and completed the capture of a 5th further north.
This puts Russian forces around 1.5km from the outskirts of Rozlyv.

In Kyiv, Ukrainian TCC workers knocked an elderly woman to the ground after she tried to prevent someone (likely her son) from being forcefully mobilised.
Ukrainians report that the Kyiv Police are attempting to keep this incident quiet, but then this video surfaced.
I don't usually post about stuff like this, but here is what I mean by the violent mobilisation ongoing across Ukraine. Videos like this are posted several times per day, but are completely ignored by western media.

The situation in Sudan and South Sudan is rapidly developing. The Sudanese Armed Forces are on the brink of recapturing the capital city, Khartoum, while South Sudan is at a serious risk of slipping into civil war. I will make some posts talking about this…
Regarding the situation in South Sudan:
- 2 days ago, Ugandan helicopters and fighter jets carried out airstrikes on the Akobo region of SPLM-IO-controlled South Sudan in the northeastern part of the country.
- Heavy Ugandan military reinforcements were recorded arriving in towns and cities at the line of contact (ceasefire line), including the towns of Bilait, Bor and Fajak. Uganda supports South Sudanese President Fiir against Vice president Machar. Machar is the leader of the SPLM-IO party and militia.
- South Sudanese president Kiir ordered the arrest of Vice President Machar, who was subsequently arrested after his residence was reportedly stormed by security forces. Machar was in Juba to sign peace agreements with the African Union.
- The Ugandan Armed Forces deployed throughout the streets of the South Sudanese capital of Juba in support of President Kiir.
- Germany closed its embassy in South Sudan
- Norway closed all of its offices in South Sudan
- The UK embassy to South Sudan has reduced the number of staff working at its embassy.
