According to data from the Ukrainian General Staff, Russia launched a total of 4,198 Geran-2 drones at Ukraine during March 2025. That's an average of 135 per day - an all-time high for the war.

The IDF has issued evacuation orders for much of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza. This is where the rockets were fired from earlier.

It was launched from the western neighbourhood of the main part of Beit Hanoun city in Northern Gaza, and flew southeast over the Gaza border towards southern Sderot, before being intercepted by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) over the eastern part of the settlement of Nir Am.

It flew for approximately 5.21km.

The moment an Israeli airstrike targeted a building in the city of Khan Younis, southern Gaza. The building was evacuated prior to the strike.

In the Sumy direction, Russian forces continued to push into Sumy Oblast and have captured a series of positions.

Russian forces advanced into the northwestern part of the village of Basivka, and occupied the houses there. They then pushed south, approaching the central part of the village. Russian forces also captured further forest positions in the Novenke tract.

Additionally, treeline positions in Kursk Oblast near the international border which were previously in the grey zone came under Russian control. Russian forces also pushed and occupied a forest plantation on the international border north of the Sudzha checkpoint.

+ ~22.60km² in favour of Russia.

In the Sumy direction, Russian forces continued their advance and captured a series of positions in Kursk Oblast.

Russian forces advanced from the road to Goncharovka, and captured further positions in the forest plantations in the low-lying ground. They then advanced northwest, seizing further positions, before capturing part of the nearby forest. Additionally, Russian forces advanced southwest from other forest plantations, capturing a treeline.

+ ~1.76km² in favour of Russia.

In the Belgorod direction, Russian forces counterattacked and advanced in the village of Demidovka.

After largely being pushed out of the settlement, Russian assault detachments began attacking from the forests into the houses, and pushed towards the centre of the village.

Russian forces captured positions in the northern and northeastern houses, before seizing the administrative building and surrounding areas in the centre. Russian forces also advanced north of the village, recapturing part of a forest in the low-lying ground.

+ ~0.51km² in favour of Russia.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces marginally advanced and captured new treelines positions in Luhansk Oblast.

They advanced from positions west of the village of Novolyubivka, and moved along a treeline, capturing positions there. They were able to reach the intersection with another treeline. These positions are on the tactical heights.

+ ~0.57km² in favour of Russia.

In western Donetsk Oblast, Russian forces completed the capture of the village of Rozlyv.

After seizing most of the village, Russian forces advanced south and southwest towards the western part of the village, capturing the remaining streets. They then pushed across the open fields and reached the agricultural buildings on the western outskirts of Rozlyv, capturing them too.

A local from Slovyansk wrote to me, describing the situation with mobilisation in Slovyansk and Kramatorsk.

Currently, there are very strict measures in place for catching men for the AFU, 20+ year olds are the main target. These people are being caught/beaten/forced to sign a contract with the AFU.

They are forming full battalions of young 18–24-year-olds. While the commanders are older, there isn't much that they can teach them military-wise in the 3–4-week training period. Women are also being involved in these new battalions. In fact, last week in Kramatorsk, 2 local women (21 and 22 years old) were buried. They were stormtroopers fighting in the Chasiv Yar and Toretsk directions.

Additionally, in Kramatorsk, the AFU has a new tactical sign, a square and two arrows facing upwards (not three). This means that a new tactical group has been formed.

And to quote him directly "I feel very sorry for the young boys who finished school yesterday - they don't understand anything at all."

Ukrainian source on Russian KAB glide-bomb strikes:

"In the Pokrovsky direction, there remains high activity of enemy tactical aviation, for example, in a day in the area of ​​responsibility of only one brigade, about 10 KABs are recorded.

There is, of course, a certain error in the fact that not everything that falls from the sky is a CAB, because often guys confuse them with shells from MLRS or large-caliber guns, which simply destroy positions from a direct hit, but still, the activity of enemy aircraft continues to be high, hundreds of aircraft sorties are recorded per month."

There have been no confirmed changes on the frontline in Ukraine over the past 24 hours.
