Russian forces advanced in the Kostyantynivka direction, capturing new positions, including a trench stronghold.

They advanced in two areas. In the south, Russian forces pushed up the western bank of the Siversky-Donets Canal and captured positions in the windbreak. They then pushed west and captured positions in two different treelines.

In the north, Russian forces expanded their bridgehead on the western bank of the canal and captured a trench stronghold. Positions were also captured at the water treatment facility outside the village of Ozarianivka.

Over the past week, Russian forces have made significant progress in and around Toretsk.

The main progress occurred west of the city where Russian forces pushed into the forests there and captured most of the positions within them. They then pushed through the remaining residential areas and captured the two industrial enterprises on either side of the highway. The Terykon by the eastern enterprise remains in the grey zone.

From there, Russian armoured vehicles advanced through the open fields, with infantry taking up positions in the northwestern-most neighbourhood which is disconnected from the main part of the city. Additional positions were captured to the west in the fields.

Meanwhile, Russian forces continued to push in other parts of Toretsk. Closer to the city centre, Russian forces advanced through the private residential sector, reaching Radchenka street and eliminating most of the salient within this part of the city. They also advanced from the Toretsk Central Mine and approached the western outskirts of the city.

In the south, Russian forces re-occupied positions directly south of the southern Terykon. As a result, the westernmost part of the Zabalka district in the southern part of Toretsk has shifted into the grey zone.

A Russian Geran-2 drone struck an unknown target in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast last night.

Russia launched an unusual day time Geran-2 drone attack on Zhytomyr Oblast yesterday.

They were probably trying to test the reactions of Ukrainian air defence and aircraft movements.

Explosions were heard in the northern part of Zhytomyr city. This city is rarely attacked by Gerans.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, Russian forces continued to advanced and began assault operations on a new section of the frontline.

Russian forces advanced in two main areas. In the west, they advanced from positions in the village of Arkhanhelske, and seized the forest plantations to the north, reaching and entering the nearby village of Kalynove, although it is unclear if a foothold has been established. Additional positions were captured in nearby treelines, while the front was slightly corrected to the east.

In the east, Russian forces eliminated the Ukrainian salient southwest of Oleksandropil and captured positions in the treelines east and west of the highway on the tactical heights.

Hamas seems to still have some of their domestically produced MLRS, despite close to 500 days of Israeli bombing campaigns.

The IDF has issued evacuation orders for several parts of Gaza City, including the Shujjaiya district where the IDF is currently operating.

Under the cover of heavy artillery and airstrikes, Israeli forces from the 1st "Golani" Brigade of the 36th "Ga'ash" Division are continuing their advance from the border with southern Gaza and have mostly captured the village of Al-Buyuki. Israeli infantry are clearing buildings, setting up outposts and pushing deeper, with the goal of linking up with their troops from the 162nd "Ha-Plada" Division which have pushed out from central Rafah. This would encircle and cut off part of Rafah. While this has not been achieved yet, it likely will be within the next 24-48 hours.

And quite literally 30 seconds after I make this post, the Israeli Army Radio announced the completion of this operation and the linking up of the two IDF brigades. Great timing.

Houthi spokesperson: "The missile, UAV, and the naval forces continue to target enemy warships in the northern Red Sea, led by the American aircraft carrier Truman. Over the past few hours, they have targeted it in a joint military operation using several cruise missiles and drones."

Israeli Channel 12 reported that a Houthi drone was intercepted on its way towards Israel. If true, it would've been shot down outside of Israeli airspace as no sirens sounded.

Shortly before this, Israeli media reported that an Iron Dome missile was fired over the Dead Sea from areas east of Jerusalem.

German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine.

It contains:
Four IRIS-T air defence systems
300 missiles for IRIS-T complexes
15 Leopard 1 tanks
Reconnaissance drones
100,000 artillery shells
120 MANPADS launchers
25 Marder infantry fighting vehicles
14 artillery systems

Additionally, 30 patriot air defence missiles have already been delivered, while Pistorius has also announced the upcoming delivery of 1,100 ground surveillance radars.

This comes as on March 19, the German Finance Ministry confirmed that an additional $3.3 billion USD would be allocated to support for Ukraine, on top of the $4.36 billion USD that was already allocated for 2025.

An increase in Russian military transport aircraft flights to Engels-2 Air Base has been observed. At least three IL-76MD aircraft landed there between April 9 and April 11, with their cargo likely containing Kh-101 cruise missiles.

The unloading process is very fast, it takes only around 1.5 hours on average. The higher activity of flights could suggest that the warehouses that store these cruise missiles (and KAB glide-bombs) have been partially or fully restored.

The IDF has issued evacuation orders for the Khirbet Khuza'a, Abasan al-Kabira and al-Jadidah areas of southern Gaza, stating that a new offensive has been launched to "destroy the capabilities of terrorist organizations."

For the second time this week, Saudi Arabian artillery shelling has targeted border villages under Houthi control in Yemen. This coincides with continued U.S. airstrikes on various parts of Houthi-controlled Yemen.
