This was the second to last partially functioning hospital in Gaza City. The other partially functioning hospital is Al-Shifa Hospital, which was completely burned and destroyed last year during an Israeli raid. However, one medical unit has reopened at Al-Shifa, likely only providing basic medical care.

Russian Geran-2 drones attacked Kyiv last night. Ukrainian air defence activity was reported, with at least two explosions being reported. There was one confirmed impact.

The Saraya Al-Quds brigades (armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad) claimed that they shot down and seized two Israeli quadcopter drones while they were carrying out reconnaissance operations in the central Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources report that seven people were killed and multiple others injured after an Israeli airstrike targeted a vehicle in the western neighbourhoods of the city of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

In the Yunakivka direction, Russian forces continued their assault operations and captured further positions in Kursk Oblast.

Russian forces advanced in two main areas. The most progress was made in the south where they were able to advanced from positions in the main part of the large forest near the village of Guevo and captured further positions in the southwestern part of it. They also pushed into the nearby forest plantations and captured positions there, while advancing down to the forests north of the village of Gornal, reaching the approaches to the settlement.

Further north, Russian forces made some more progress in the Oleshnya area and captured forest plantations west of the village. Their zone of control was also slightly expanded northwest of the village.

Based on my initial findings, the first Iskander-M ballistic missile that struck Sumy targeted a dual-purpose building at 50.905404, 34.795907.

It was used as a concert theatre, a photography studio and a business school. Of course, we don't know what else it may have been used for - it's too early to tell but I will continue to update as I dig deeper.

The scenes coming out of Sumy are absolutely horrific. The missiles hit a building right next to one of Sumy's busiest streets at 11:20am. There are many restaurants and coffee shops in the area and on a Sunday, I can image they would have had a lot of people in them.

No matter what was in this building, military or not, this was incredibly dumb and incompetent of whoever gave the order to fire the missiles.

Officials say that at least 21 people have been killed and 34 others wounded, which in my opinion considering the circumstances, is very plausible. A Pro-Russian local citing his friend also said that there are many kids among the dead.

As usual with these sorts of things, I won't publish any photos or videos of the dead for ethical reasons, but I'm sure you can find them yourselves.

It appears what was hit in Sumy was indeed a military target.
