High activity of Ukrainian aircraft and MLRS has been observed over the past hour. Ukrainian Su-24/27 and possibly F-16s have been launching glide-bombs at various targets for some time.

Glide-bombs targeted Pogrebki, Lebedevka, Mokrushino and the city of Korenevo in Kursk Oblast. Several launch maneuvers were recorded.

Ukrainian tactical aircraft near Kostyantynivka, Donetsk Oblast, also launched glide-bombs, but the launch direction is currently unknown. Additional flights of Ukrainian tactical aircraft were recorded over Mykolaiv Oblast.

A lot of MLRS, including HIMARS launches were also recorded in the direction of Sudzha, Pogrebki, Mokrushino and Korenevo in Kursk Oblast, Krasnaya Yaruga in Belgorod Oblast, Volnavokha in Donetsk Oblast and Tokmak in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

While this kind of activity isn't common for this time of the day, the sheer numbers of attacks is very unusual.

An Israeli drone airstrike was carried out on a vehicle in town of Aitaroun, southern Lebanon. Initial reports state that two people have been injured.

This appears to be Russian air defence trying to shoot down Ukrainian tactical aircraft over Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

2 years ago, the Sudanese civil war began. Fighting broke out in the streets of the capital between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, more commonly known as "Hemedti", and the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), led by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.

What was expected to be a relatively quick SAF victory due to their superior air and manpower led to a protracted, brutal war which has left a bare minimum estimate of 150,000 civilians dead in a genocide orchestrated by the RSF and supported by the United Arab Emirates. SAF airstrikes have killed countless civilians too, however the vast majority were killed on the ground in massacres by the RSF.

While the SAF is once again on the front foot and making quick territorial gains, the war is far from over as it approaches the traditional RSF stronghold in the Darfur region.
