Had a great time with the Colorado NJP at their annual camping trip! Lots of vetted guys were there with their families. It's hard to convey how much you feel at home at these things. Big shout out to all the Little Free Libraries for keeping us warm. And of course you know we drank gallons of Above Time coffee☕

Happy American Midsummer to our comrades whose ancestors crossed the broad Atlantic and tamed the vast wilderness of our continent.

"4th of July" is so much more than merely a commemoration of the events of 1776. Our blood remembers it as it truly is and has always been: an ancient celebration of life and light at the crown of the year.

The victorious Sun is in her glory. Does she still rise for us? Does her banner yet wave?

May the Solstice fires burn bright and may Freedom be the prayer rising with the smoke of our celebrations. Happy 4th!
