It's truly inspiring what a group of hard-working, dedicated men can accomplish in a day. Our work day saw pipes repaired, trees trimmed and burned, two dump trucks worth of dirt distributed across garden beds, and posts put in for eventual trellises. It was also a community event that included over a dozen kids playing field games (from egg runs to water balloon tosses), treehouse adventures, and nerf gun wars. In addition to our local Patriot Front crew, we were joined by friends, family members, and neighbors. From the morning starting with donuts and Above Time Coffee (brewed by everyone's favorite coffee gal, Sarah Dye herself) to the evening concluding with a viewing of Once Upon a Time in Minnesota (Lord Wolfshield's latest psychological thriller), it was a wonderful day from start to finish. James and I can't express how grateful we are to be a part of such a supportive, genuinely lovely community. If you're in need of a white pill, seriously consider stepping off the internet and connecting IRL.
