Government Shutdown update info 1/29/2026:

Senate Democrats are blocking the spending package unless ICE reforms and accountability measures are included, while President Trump and Republican leaders have refused to decouple DHS funding. The House has passed its bills, but the Senate has not acted, and no agreement is in sight.

If no deal is reached by January 30, agencies like DHS, DOD, HHS, Education, Transportation, and Treasury will partially shut down!
