THE BATTLE OF HASTINGS
Amidst the thunder of hooves and the ring of clashing swords, members of Active Club Wessex hosted members of Active Club London at the Hastings Battlefield, gathering together to commemorate a pivotal moment in our history.
It was on this very ground on 14th October 1066 that the army of King Harold II, Harold Godwinson, met the invading force of William, Duke of Normandy. By the end of the day, William was King and a new chapter of England's history began.

We need lads that are willing to put on the gloves, shift the weights, and run the distance.
