NOTE! ✍️
I am predicting that the future of the Coalition is screwed.
If the Coalition comes back together, either the Liberals or the Nationals will have to backflip on the hate speech legislation.
If the Nationals drops its opposition, this will give One Nation the opportunity to storm through regional & rural Australia. Pauline Hanson said today that One Nation is already polling at 40% in key National Party seats.
If One Nation has a clear differentiated position, this will result in the Nationals definitely losing seats.
If the Liberals backflip, they will look like inconsistent flip floppers. The only possible parliamentarian who could pull this off is Angus Taylor who technically did not vote for the bill in the House of Representatives.
Hastie & Wilson would have no credibility to back flip. Their position is now locked in.
Having said this, if the Coalition flips & commits to repealing the legislation, no one will believe that moderate Liberals will actually allow this to happen.
Thus, even if Sussan Ley is deposed, the pathway for the Coalition to rejoin is fraught with significant political obstacles.
By contrast, One Nation has a clear cut unequivocal message. In retail political terms, this gives Hanson a significant strategic & tactical advantage.

This I believe is one of the most fascinating & important graphs in the history of political science.
How did a fringe political party go from 2.6% of the national vote to 37% of the electorate in 4 years? (Or 12 parliamentary seats to 230).
Germany during this period went through a major structural shift where largely regional & rural voters were fed up with the traditional political establishment that they were prepared to vote for a previously viewed extreme political option.
I am telling my Liberal friends that what we are witnessing in Australian political opinion polls is not a short term cyclical fluctuation, but a major structural shift where middle class voters (including skilled professionals), are prepared to abandon the traditional establishment given how dire economic, social & cultural life is in Australia.
Reform in the UK is also witnessing a major structural shift among the British people.
If this structural shift continues, I can see the primary vote of the Coalition fall below 20%.

UNBELIEVABLE! 😱
ABC News attempts to link Bec Walker & Senator Malcolm Roberts to Nazism.
This BS reporting narrative will no doubt provide Tony Burke the pretext to start arresting the political enemies of the Labor - Liberal uniparty under the hate speech legislation.
I suspect the end goal is to ban One Nation & put Pauline Hanson in jail for 15 years so stop any political takeover in Federal Parliament.
This is banana republic totalitarianism on full display.

🚨 BREAKING 🚨
I can announce that after being politically independent for 10 years (I quit the Liberal Party in 2016), I joined One Nation last week (I have had numerous discussions with One Nation over the past month).
This past Saturday (2 days ago), I was elected to the One Nation Branch Committee in the Cunningham electorate.
Tomorrow morning, Michael West Media will publish an opinion piece by me as to why I have re-emerged from the political wilderness & joined One Nation.

They are absolutely losing their minds!
I am either a deeply racist individual, I have severe mental health issues, I am a grifter (I am taking money from Gina) or I am on the extreme right!

QUESTION? 🤔
Why is One Nation leading in this demographic? Because these voters have a reference point to when Australia was a better & happier country.
Given than young voters don’t have this memory, it will One Nation’s political challenge to connect to younger voters & convinced them that they can deliver happier times!
