== Who are you? ==
Curiosity, motivation, and an easy going personality. Those are key characteristics that we look for in a candidate. The projects we work on take inspiration from many diverse communities, so you will most likely only be familiar with some aspects of the projects before you start. Consequently, there is no "right" educational background, though we expect experience in a machine learning related field. Remember, if you're a great candidate, then we will adapt the project to fit you.

== Who are we? ==
The Center for Basic Machine Learning Research in Life Science (mlls.dk) is headed by Ole Winter, Anders Krogh, Aasa Feragen, Wouter Boomsma, Jes Frellsen and Søren Hauberg. We conduct the basic machine learning research needed to estimate representations of biomedical data that are robust, interpretable, data efficient, reflective of inherent data uncertainty, and able to leverage existing knowledge.

== Where? ==
You'll be working in the intersection of the University of Copenhagen and the Technical University of Denmark. Both salary and working conditions are excellent. The center is a down-to-earth and fun place to be. Most group members live in Copenhagen which is often named as the best city in the world to live, and for good reasons. Copenhagen is really nice! It's world renowned for food, beer, art, music, architecture, the Scandinavian "hygge", and much more. Parental leave is generous and child-care is excellent and cheap.
