Svarog:
Svarog is the Slavic version of the Indo-European divine smith. The divine smith is present throughout many Indo-European mythologies and is responsible for crafting the weapons of the Gods such as the weapon of the Thunder God that is used to strike demons and create lightning. His Greek/Roman counterpart is Hephaestus/Vulcan, Vedic Tvashtr, Baltic Teliavelis, and the Scythian Kurdalagon. Svarog is also set in place the order of monogamous marriage. Svarog is also a creator deity who is said to have shaped the material world and formed humans with the substance that the Sky Father put into existence.
