These guys are bringing to the public an unbroken lineage of internal Western Alchemy that's actually a complete system.

Short version:

-a line from Jacob Boheme that integrated the "Kerning technique" survived in Germany.

-Franz Hartmann mentions that he found a secret group of "true Rosicrucians" who are led by an initiate who was illiterate.

-Turns out this is the same source as Steiner's later Rosicrucian teachings.

-Gustav Meyrink's teacher was the same.

-Felkin got these teachings through Steiner.

-in this way these teachings found their way into everything from Golden Dawn to OTO. (In a highly altered form)

-Sam Robinson is the main player. He found the remnant of the original group (still going), and a bunch of others have joined.

The project Sam is initiating is primarily one of communication. Different esoteric/Rosicrucian/ Hermetic groups seem to have drawn from similar sources in the western tradition and then closed themselves off. They jealously guard their own "ARCANUM ARCANORUM" claiming they have the true mysteries while others are false. Etc etc etc *yawn*.

Instead, there is this healthy open environment being fostered where groups are sharing their systems. Through contrast we can see what is unique and what is shared.

Over time teachings have been changed, edited, lost, reinterpreted. Etc.

With these findings we now have a "map" and can put what we do in context. No longer do we have to rely on snake oil salesmen that claim they can turn us into God's , or sell us "initiation" in the mail.

For the first time, we have a real living current.

Different emphasis on specific practices is gonna be the main change.

Old practices that are lost will be "refound". Practices that have been edited and reinterpreted so much that they're used for something completely different, can now be reframed and understood in a new light.

Literally the "fat" that has built up around these systems can be burnt off.
