Okay, so 💅.
Rosicrucian History.
If different fields of Knowledge are like "Organs" then History is "The Spine" that our Knowledge "Hangs" off of.
Learning History isn't just about finding roots or appreciating those who came before. It's about creating a "Psychic Structure" within us so we can easily recall what we need, when we need it.
If you want to learn a subject the best way to start is by studying its History. Then you know people of interest and who they taught, institutions which have existed may still exist that can aid, and you all-round orient yourself to learn in an excellerated way (and have what you've learnt stick).
Now, Question: How do you find this Rosicrucian Family Tree?
Too chaotic? Some Links are tenuous. There are no dates (I couldn't squeeze them in), It merely shows a rough chronological "flow" and relationship.
It's also woefully incomplete. No Max Heindel, no Amorc, no Martinism, Italian and Eastern European groups are omitted.
Alas, this is only supposed to be a starting point. Something that shows someone the links from the Manifestos to the two most famous organizations. The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and The Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO), Plus key individuals of significance. Much is lacking.
BUT, as I started by saying. This is only an introduction. So back to the question.... "Do you think its a good one?"

Magical work involves change and creation. And the subject of the magician’s work is the self. The magician is the focus of his or her own alchemical processes. By adapting one’s personal vision to reflect the macrocosm, we can change ourselves to better reflect those divine ideas. We may alter our body, appearance, the chemical composition of our blood, and the configuration of our nervous system. We may tame the feral beasts that dwell within our organic structure. By changing ourselves to resonate with the divine, we may transmute every portion of ourselves and become as purified vessels for the eternal spirit.

"The human body is an alchemical athanor for those who have become familiar with the occult truth, like a pot in which the earthly aspirations by which an ordinary mortal lives are digested and boiled. In the human body, which contains analogues of everything that is present in nature in all its fourfoldness, there is an instrument for the highest purification of the four elements themselves, so that you can gradually achieve a higher state."

"There is no real difference between Eternal Birth, Reintegration, and the discovery of the Philosopher’s Stone. Everything having issued forth from Unity, all must return to it in the same manner…"

Today is the Day of Saturn of Giordano Bruno, the anniversary of his execution.
Giordano Bruno, de la Causa, Principio e Uno (On Cause, Principle, and Unity), 1584:
"This entire globe, this star, not being subject to death - dissolution and annihilation being impossible anywhere in Nature - from time to time renews itself by changing and altering all its parts. There is no absolute up and down, as Aristotle taught; no absolute position in Space; but the position of a body is relative to that of other bodies. Everywhere there is incessant relative change in position throughout the universe, and the observer is always at the center of things."
Raise your glass for this extraordinary heretic and Hermetic (so-called by Frances A. Yeats) seeker of truth!
