Christ's death and resurrection is about the martyrdom of all life. At every moment, life is torn apart and destroyed in service to creation. Mankind, too, has left behind a mountain of corpses, legacies upon which future generations build with their own lives. We continue to pile these corpses higher, reaching toward our Father in Heaven. At the pinnacle of divine darkness, where the light of all creation is born, His throne sits. There, we will claim our inheritance. Through martyrdom, we are all sanctified.
