AFRICAN REVOLUTION MUST BE FOUGHT BY AFRICANS
Neocolonialism is the primary challenge that Africans worldwide must struggle against today in order to arrive at Pan-African unity. The imperialist world order wants Africans to appear independent because blatantly subjugating people is not socially acceptable or politically correct in the 21st century. They do not want us actually to BE independent. That is why they hated the likes of Robert Mugabe so much. If Africans actually controlled the land under our feet, we would no longer be dependent on the West for our bread and butter. These Western NGOs who come to fund our struggle also have the same motive. They want us to rely on the West even in our fight for true independence from the West. Every African has a responsibility to fight for total African liberation and unification. It is only when we have enough Africans worldwide engaged in the struggle that we will become fully self-reliant.

‘RACISM SERVES THE RULING CLASS’
In this clip, revolutionary Marxist Angela Davis argues that those in power have used racism as a tool of control. She gives the example of ‘free enterprise’ as a supposed aspirational entry point to a share of the wealth (citing Richard Nixon’s example of opening a corner store) - but this is imaginary. In reality, the (White-controlled) monopolies dictate the movement of capital. She made her comments 50 years ago. Do you think they still hold up?

WEST'S LIES ABOUT AFRICA
The West has sold lies about Africa as diseased and dying, keeping many Africans in the diaspora away from Africa, while the West continues investing and reaping benefits. That's what Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao, former African Union Permanent Representative to the United States, recently told an African journalist. She called on all Africans to wake up and for a Pan-Africanist television programme to re-write history and educate its people on the power that lies within Africa.

CHIMAMANDA: A LESSON IN FRENCH HYPOCRISY
Nigerian author and activist Chimamanda Ngozi says colonialism is not over yet. In an interview with France 24, she pointed out the hypocrisy of France in its dealings with Africa. France has continued its exploitative financial relationship with former colonies, which have been forced to bank their reserves in Paris. France not only controls these countries’ capital but also their natural resources. One of the countries has been Niger - one of the world’s largest producers of uranium - which has remained in poverty despite servicing much of France’s electricity grid. But the recent revolution in Niamey shows the winds of change are blowing - certainly through the Sahel, and perhaps across all of Africa! Do you feel it yet?

MELONI FULL OF BALONEY
It’s an odd sensation watching Italy’s hard-right Prime Minister excoriate Emmanuel Macron for French neo-imperialism in Africa. Giorgia Meloni’s analysis of the evils of the CFA franc and they way it is used by France to keep Africans economically enslaved is spot on. But she’s a fascism fan-girl who openly praises her country’s former dictator, Benito Mussolini. (As they say, even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day!) Of course, she’s only worried about French neo-imperialism because it’s fuelling the migrant crisis in which Italy is so heavily caught up in. Also, she seems to be forgetting that her own hero Mussolini had similar dreams of financial control over Africans with plans to launch his own colonial currencies.

And, moreover, the firebrand ought perhaps to cool it until she comes clean about her own neo-imperialist ambitions in Africa. She has grand plans for Italy to act as a hub for Africa’s natural gas exports to Europe, involving the construction of new pipelines in several nations on our continent. (All gas pipelines lead to Rome?) So the verdict has to be: she’s an absolute hypocrite!

MALEMA: WE MUST DEMAND RESPECT ON GLOBAL STAGE
South African opposition figure Julius Malema says enough is enough - African leaders should no longer tolerate being treated like junior partners by Western leaders.
In this clip - where he’s replying to Spain’s ambassador to South Africa, who’d asked how a Malema-led government would engage with the European Union - he says his party is open to engaging with leaders from all parts of the world, provided that such engagement happens based on mutual respect.
That’s something all African leaders surely agree with, whatever their political stripes, right?

MUGABE ON U.N. BIAS
The United Nations is routinely touted as a robust, impartial and balanced international body. But, the truth is the body is at the mercy of the whims and wishes of the five countries that are permanent members of its Security Council (UNSC): China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States. These countries have the power to veto decisions taken by the other 188 member states.
Pleas to reform the UNSC have repeatedly been ignored. Almost eight decades after it was formed, mostly World War II victors and their vassals sit on the UNSC, which does not reflect global demographics. For instance, how does one justify that France—with a population of less than 70 million—has permanent representation, while the entire African continent—with over 1.2 billion people—does not?

Continued…..Robert Mugabe, former Zimbabwean prime minister (1980-87) and, later, president (1987-2017), never shied away from calling out Western hypocrisy. In this clip from the 26th African Union Summit, held in 2016 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Mugabe said the UN—as it exists—is a mainly ceremonial organisation. His comments were directed at then-UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who had attended.

SLAVE TRADERS WARPED HISTORY
In order to justify the slave trade, European powers had to demonise Africans. And that meant re-writing or ignoring large parts of history.
Here, Afro-American historian, Professor John Henrik Clarke, uses Christianity as an example. African countries were some of the first in the world to adopt it as an official religion. A fact avoided by colonialists who pushed the narrative Africans were heathens.

BIOTERRORISM AGAINST AFRICANS IN U.S.
Between the 1950s and 1970s, the CIA spearheaded numerous covert operations under the umbrella of its MKULTRA and MKNAOMI programs. The programs developed psychological- and medical-torture methods to advance US interests during the Cold War against the former Soviet Union. Operation Big Buzz was one such example, deploying mosquitos to target Africans in the US states of Florida and Georgia. Author Harriet A. Washington’s book, ‘Medical Apartheid,’ demonstrates how Operation Big Buzz fits into the US history of experimenting on African people, both inside and outside of the United States.

U.S. POLICY: DESTROY HUMANE SOCIETIES
Close to 30 years ago, former CIA officer Philip Agee was interviewed about the United States’ role in destabilising countries, such as Cuba and Nicaragua.
Fascinatingly enough, he explained how, when governments prioritise social justice and equality by providing education and healthcare, as Cuba does, the United States moves to disrupt their processes.
Countries like Nicaragua, Cuba, Grenada and others that have challenged US hegemony, so they can provide a good quality of life to their people, were or are being destroyed militarily or economically. This comes as the US government oppresses its population.
