New Year around the world – in Alabuga!🎅 ❄️

How do they celebrate New Year in Brazil, Kyrgyzstan, Sierra Leone or Uzbekistan? Now we know it first-hand!

At the new integration event participants of the Alabuga Start programme and students of Alabuga Polytech gathered together to:
• play a New Year's quiz,
• share the holiday traditions of their countries,
• and watch Home Alone in Russian (which is also useful for practising the language!)😱

The result was a cosy atmosphere, laughter, lots of new things and, of course, the feeling that the New Year will definitely be warm and friendly, regardless of the weather.

On Saturday morning, the participants of the Alabuga Start programme went for a walk in a snow-covered park.
The fresh air, silence, sparkling snow and large New Year's tree created a special, peaceful mood at the start of the day
For many, it was a pleasant morning moment – a leisurely walk, conversations and the opportunity to feel the winter and the atmosphere of the approaching holidays.
Such simple walks help to adapt, recharge your batteries and get a better feel for a new country.

Integration through sport 🏐
An integration event was held in Alabuga, where the participants of the Alabuga Start programme from Africa, Latin America and the CIS met with the students from Alabuga Polytech on a volleyball court.
Teamwork, mutual support and sporting enthusiasm helped everyone quickly find common ground, regardless of language and culture.
Such meetings bring people together, create new acquaintances and strengthen the atmosphere of friendship within the community!
