"I came to work and study at Alabuga Polytech in the field of Service and Hospitality. And I am going to work in Shokoladnitsa. I am fine now," said Otieno Macrene Achieng, Alabuga Start program's participant from Kenya. "Those who attacked our hostel today are real barbarians and they deserve serious condemnation. In my opinion they wanted to intimidate us. But I want to tell you they did not succeed. You won't scare me, because Alabuga is a strong place and we will get through this."

Alabuga Start fully meets our expectations: Charge d'Affaires of Burkina Faso is delighted with the programme
Today Charge d'Affaires Bassirou Zoma and other representatives from the Embassy of Burkina Faso made their first visit to Alabuga Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
The delegation was treated to a comprehensive tour of the SEZ and Alabuga Polytech, an educational center dedicated to cultivating skilled professionals. During their visit, the embassy representatives engaged with college students and familiarized themselves with the educational programme.
Furthermore, the delegation visited Alabuga Polytech headquarters and the South Park residential complex, where participants of the Alabuga Start international programme live.
As part of the programme, girls from Burkina Faso arrived in Alabuga approximately two months ago. The representatives from the Embassy personally conversed with the participants of Alabuga Start, who came to acquire a new profession, study the Russian language, and immerse themselves in the local culture.
"The Alabuga Start programme has proven to be an exceptional initiative, enabling active youth to rapidly acquire essential skills," stated Bassiru Zoma, the Charge d'affaires of the Embassy of Burkina Faso. "We are committed to fostering youth development and promoting their successful professional integration. The Alabuga Start programme has indeed lived up to our expectations in this regard."
