Some of the programme's trainings take place at the "Alabuga Polytech" educational centre which is the largest centre for training skilled workers with a target capacity of 10,000 people per year. State-of-the-art equipment as in modern production facilities allows participants to get enhanced practical skills and be able to apply theoretical knowledge immediately.

"Alabuga Start" 2022 participants learn how to operate complex machinery 🤖
A robotics technician demonstrates to participants the basics of controlling a Kuka KR 10 robot (with a payload of 10 kg) using a SmartPad (robot control panel). The white buttons he presses are called a brake release device. After the introductory lecture, participants attempt to control the robot themselves by moving it with the x, y, z coordinate system and lifting up the truck.
❕The participation of mentoring engineers in trainings is an integral part of the process of gaining practical experience by the project participants. This is provided in each of the 10 fields of work in 2023.

In order to be employed in the SEZ "Alabuga", each applicant regardless of the position passes the "Business Cats" business simulation. This year our IT-specialists team created a new simulation especially for the needs of the "Alabuga Start" project. The programme participants have successfully tested it, and now the specialists are preparing it for a full-scale launch.

Even before participants'22 joined the programme in person, they, together with a teacher, had began to study the Russian language remotely. We pay particular attention to this matter, that's why a month after coming to Russia, the girls managed to pass the language exam for foreigners and to receive confirming certificates of the state standard. Congrats! ✨
Workplace training is increasingly taking place in Russian, the participants communicate a lot with students and mentor engineers, which also contributes to the rapid acquisition of knowledge of Russian.

In 2023, we redesigned the programme and are ready to share with you some major changes we made.
1. We opened 10 training fields. Last year there was only one, and given our previous positive experience, we launched additional fields lasting 2 and 4 years.
2. We increased wages for participants. Under the terms of 2022, the programme participants received 20,000 rubles. In 2023, at the initial stage, participants will receive 40,000 rubles, with the possibility of promotion along with an increase in salary by 5,000 rubles every year or six months, depending on the field.
3. The number of target countries has increased. In 2022, we focused on about 10 countries, while in 2023 we are working with 86 countries from all over the world.
We are open to new things and are willing to consider adding more countries to next year's list if there are enough applications. You can influence our decision.
