As part of a tour of the SEZ, the guests got acquainted with the industrial site, the Alabuga Polytech educational centre and a residential complex where the company's employees, including Alabuga Start participants, live.

«I had heard about Alabuga before, but it helped a lot to see this technological industrial park with my own eyes. I am impressed!», said Peter Mutuku Mathuki.

Among other things, the Embassy representatives attended a Russian language lesson and talked with Alabuga Start participants from Kenya.

«I am thinking of sending my daughter there»: the team of the councillor-deputy of the Santo André municipality admired the opportunities of Alabuga Start

As part of a working visit to Latin American countries, representatives of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Alabuga visited Brazil, where they made a presentation of the international programme Alabuga Start and spoke about employment opportunities in Russia for young women.

«We will try to reach an agreement with our prefecture, this project can help a lot of people», said the team of the councillor-deputy of the Santo André municipality.

In addition, the project team was invited to visit Maurici, the President of the Committee of International Affairs of São Paulo State.

«Wonderful programme, it provides work opportunities for young women, it is a very useful project. Alabuga Start will be very popular in Brazil, many people need it», Maurici shared his opinion.

Counsellor of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Russian Federation Jose Manuel Vargas paid a working visit to the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Alabuga.

The Counsellor got acquainted with the infrastructure of the SEZ Alabuga, such as activities of resident factories and the largest educational centre in Russia Alabuga Polytech. In addition, Jose Manuel Vargas personally talked to the participants of the Alabuga Start international programme.

«I am impressed by the scale and projects of the Special Economic Zone. We look forward to developing comprehensive cooperation between the Dominican Republic and Alabuga», said the Counsellor of the Embassy.

Business Cats in Latin America: the first ever Olympiad on financial literacy was held in Brazil

The Alabuga Start team together with the programme's ambassador in Brazil, Henrique Dominguez, held the first ever Olympiad on financial literacy in the country.

More than 80 students from the Homero Rubens de Sa School and the São Paulo State College of Technology (FATEC) participated in the event. Three girls were the winners of the Business Cats Olympiad and the lucky winners of valuable prizes: a laptop and 2 smartphones.
