Sports games, team spirit and a festive atmosphere: how Russia Day was celebrated at Alabuga Start
Russia Day is not just a holiday. It is a day when we honour our history, culture and, of course, our unity. Russia is a unique multinational country with representatives of different cultures, speaking different languages, but united by a common home - Russia.
Russia has always been famous for its hospitality and warm friendly relations, including with the countries of Africa and Latin America. In the best Russian traditions, the Alabuga Start international programme gives young girls from more than 80 countries the opportunity to build a successful career from scratch and integrate into Russian society.
Today, on Russia Day, the participants joined a large-scale sporting event where they could have fun as well as show their teamwork skills, compete and win prizes.

Alabuga Start representatives met with future participants of the programme in Brazil
Girls from the school Alayde Maria Vicente Professora in the favela of Guarulhos and the school named after Homero Rubens de Sá were able to ask the representatives of Alabuga SEZ questions about the international programme.
And future participants from the São Paulo State Technological College (FATEC) were able not only to talk to the Alabuga Start team, but also to take part in the Business Cats Olympiad on financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
