ARG – Telegram
How do you create good lore for an ARG that doesn't sound corny or unoriginal?

Please help, I really want to make my own ARG for the first time and I have so many ideas (atleast in my opinion, creative doesn't always mean greatest) for my storyline but not only can I pick one, they also suck... What do you guys always use to check if it's good? My arg is also half analog horror btw...

Where to start my arg/analog horror?

I had an entire vid, story and everything. I even created fake messages between myself to seem like my character was getting information. My arg takes place in the universe of a certain ip and when I tried to post the start of my arg in the in-universe sub, the mods took everything down and were dicks to me in my my messages. I have no idea where to go from here and I really don’t want all my hard work to be for nothing

Not sure if this is already on people’s radar, but figured I’d ask.

A friend of mine got a random Discord message this morning pointing to something called LE3005 no explanation really, just a link and a short “start here” type message. The site was https://le3005.com/ so I had a poke around.

I managed to get through a section called Spectral Sigils, but after that I’ve hit a wall. What’s interesting is it doesn’t feel like I’m just stuck on a hard puzzle. It feels more like I’m missing information that isn’t all in one place.

I’ve gone back over it a few times now and I’m not spotting anything new on my own. The more I look at it, the more it feels like this is meant to be worked through by multiple people comparing notes rather than solved solo.

Has anyone else checked it out or made progress past Spectral Sigils? Even knowing others are seeing the same thing would help. Happy to swap notes if anyone’s digging into it too.

Analog horror va ARG?

Hi everyone. I’m deciding between making Analog Horror or an ARG, and I’d like some quick opinions.

Analog Horror: easier to make, viewer-friendly, focuses on atmosphere and visuals.

ARG: more immersive and interactive, but much harder to plan and maintain.

For a beginner who wants to grow an audience:

Which works better?

Is starting with Analog Horror smarter before attempting an ARG?

Curious to hear your thoughts.

A site that isn’t an ARG, but feels like evidence of one

I’ve been circling an idea for a while and wanted to sanity-check it with people who think carefully about discovery and intent.

I’m considering building a website that presents itself as an abandoned client commission — research posts, references, contributor material, disclaimers — where nothing explicitly asks the reader to solve anything. No puzzles to “win,” no call to action, no external trails.

The unsettling part (if it works) would come from pattern recognition: repeated language, contradictions, post-abandonment updates, the sense that the “client” behind the site may not have been human, and that the human who built it might not have realized what they were participating in.

It wouldn’t behave like a traditional ARG — more like a static artifact that quietly implies it learned something and moved on.

I’m not sure whether something like that would be engaging or just frustrating. Curious how people here feel about projects where discovery is optional and resolution may never arrive.

Should I make a Desmos ARG?

I've been thinking about this for a while, as well as having my own demo (The Desmos Test), but I really want to explore more with the idea of making my own full ARG within Desmos.

Looking for a sci-fi ARG that I forgot the name of

At the time I discovered it, I think there was just one or two videos. It had an analog style and depicted a spaceship/spacefleet battle between two human factions fighting over a planet or moon as if it were an educational simulation of the ships' positions and maneuvers. Does this ring a bell to anyone?

This channel seems quite relatively new, as it was made very recently.
I don't want to shit myself watching the videos or investigating the ARG (mind you, I'm a weak hearted person and looking at the thumbnail of the latest video makes my heart rush from how disorienting it is) so I'll leave this channel to y'all.
I don't own this channel. OP did not make this ARG. I'm not staging/forging anything at all.

I dont know if this is part of a ARG but it definetely feels like it!

So there is a new KFC ad that is only released in the netherlands and its only in Dutch so i have not seen anyone talking abvout it but its very creepy and feels a bit like found footage from the 90's so its definetely got the vibe of a ARG like Meow Wolfs Omega Mart.

Please Investigate this for me because i dont have the time for it. The link to the video is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qwVgUuWPYw
