OMG I just realized this after reading the BAIN section. Bain Capital owns Varsity. Varsity is a monopolized cheerleading giant. They run most cheerleading competitions around the country. One of the largest competitions is held in Atlanta every year. Atlanta is known as the human trafficking capital in the US. 😒 My daughter cheers there every year and we’ve seen some scary stuff go on when thousands of cheerleaders descend on the city. Here’s the truth. The #MeToo movement was not all BS. These women in Hollywood and all over the place have been sexually assaulted and had no voice for a very long time. A lot of conservatives said “oh well they shouldn’t have worn this that or this” Yes you can refrain from provocative clothing, but that give no one ANY right to sexually assault someone.
BUT this is not just about WOMEN. MEN have been assaulted too. Men and women have been sold into trafficking. People try to focus on WOMEN to cause division, but they leave out men.
This stuff is layers and layers deep. I hated the #MeToo movement because I have sons and I don’t want them labeled. What I didn’t realize was that it was teaching me to stand up for my sons and men as well.
