Violent left wing extremist Richard Hunsinger was sentenced to a measly 32 months in federal prison for his role in attacking a federal building with molotovs and nail bombs Feds wanted 84 months, so it is likely no terrorism enhancement was added. No local…
FBI Atlanta put out a 10k reward for information leading to the arrest Ronald "Sarah" Watson relating to a 2020 Atlanta Antifa riot where nail bombs were thrown into an occupied federal building. This was the same riot Richard T. Hunsinger got 32 months for.

Thoughts on the designation of Antifa as a "major terrorist organization"
It's entirely symbolic and in 2020, it didn't amount to much if you want to be brutally honest. We followed hundreds of those cases and there was little accountability, in Portland only 6 people got any prison time for all the rioting that went on there for example.
Honestly don't have much faith this will either, take for example the violence at Christian events in Seattle in May (5 months ago now). The people involved were the same exact people responsible for ENDD (Antifa/BLM group that organized dozens of riots in Seattle). FBI leadership made posts about investigating and holding people accountable, but nothing has happened since.
The claim that they're going to start large federal RICO cases against all these people has been something said in conservative circles for years, but it hasn't amounted to much outside of the state case in Atlanta, which is somewhat falling apart. Maybe this time will be different but as someone who has spent years following the court cases, I lack a bit of faith on it.
The non-symbolic move is to designate them a foreign terrorist organization via the state department. Because very simply, it's unambiguously true, Antifa does operate as a decentralized transnational terror network, sometimes with organized groups/cells and other times as lone-wolf style attacks. The state department has designated decentralized transnational terror networks as FTOs before. This opens up an ability to prosecute under material support laws in a different way.
Take for example this post from Corvallis Antifa, this isn't happening in a vacuum, it's enabled by another set of antifa in Italy who support hundreds of violent extremist groups across the world with their platform that shares arson guides, calls to violence, explosives, and other crime guides. You could point to other example of international groups like Antifa international or the sharing of terror content and tactics overseas like Autonomous German Antifa tactics being brought to America.
There is recent precedent in the courts for this being done to accelerationist groups (done at the end of the Biden administration) that operate in a similar decentralized transnational way. US citizens who have operated in America have been charged with FTO material support cases for this. Antifa has committed more violence and most certainly more high-profile violence then those groups. Treat them the same way. https://x.com/AntifaWatch2/status/1968803167216288115

The crowd is getting more and more rowdy.
UC Berkeley- 4 of the exits for tonight’s TPUSA event are being blocked by large crowds of protesters screaming “F*ck you fascist” as attendees leave.
Protesters are attempting to block every exit in an attempt to intimidate attendees
ANTIFA protesters blocked every entrance and then began running to swarm attendees after they found out the one unblocked exit they were using.
And that is entirely to blame on the weak response of the right.

🚨BREAKING🚨
On November 19th, five 'antifa,' defendents - Seth Sikes, Joy Abigail Gibson, Lynette Read Sharp, Nathan Baumann and John Phillip Thomas - involved in the coordinated attack on the Prairieland Ice Facility pleaded guilty to providing material support to terrorists.
Baumann, Gibson, and Sikes admitted they "planned with others to provide resources and personnel, including [himself/herself], knowing and intending that they would be used to carry out acts of terrorism." Sikes' plea went further, elaborating that “Sikes and his coconspirators adhered to an Antifa, anarchist ideology and organized cells or ‘affinity groups’ around their beliefs.”
Many of the 18 antifa terrorists face life in prison if convicted. Those that plead face a maximum of 15 years behind bars.

'Antifa' group "Vulkan" or "Vulkangruppe." has sabotaged power lines in Berlin overnight. The extremist set fire to a cable bridge near the Lichterfelde power plant, short circuiting the power lines, damaging five high-voltage and ten medium-voltage cables, leaving around 45,000 homes without power.
Berlin is currently experiencing freezing temperatures, meaning residents face frigid dark nights and the possibility of burst water lines. Repairs to similar damage can take up to five weeks, but emergency crews are working 24/7, attempting to restore power within the week.
'Vulkangruppe' was responsible for a similar attack on the power grid in September of 2025, and attacked a Telsa factory in 2024.
