Unofficial KernelSU Manager v1.0.2
Mirror:
https://github.com/backslashxx/KernelSU/releases
This is a personal build/fork that is compatible to legacy devices
Basically newer KernelSU is not compatible anymore with legacy (read) so if you want newer features like action button you have to use this.
🚨 This will only work on recent kernels of mine
Those builds will accept BOTH official KernelSU manager and this one
Lets hope someone steps up and maintains a Legacy KernelSU fork though
Theres a link for the announcement right on the app warning you about this unofficial build

Unofficial KernelSU Manager v1.0.2-2
This is a personal build/fork that is compatible to legacy devices
🚨 This will only work on recent kernels of mine
*
Those builds will accept *BOTH official KernelSU manager and this one
Changes:
- debloat, as we dont need x86 support (7.4MB -> 5.2MB)
- grab upstream manager changes (auto-refresh, search filter)
- proper tagging
- now has a dummy error for people that should not use this
- builds now also on ci
- ☃️ emoji
if youre not using corepatch, make sure to uninstall old manager and install this one, if you have corepatch, yeah just install. its because of that debloating.
-
yes ci is now active, you can get them from ci/actions

I'll do PR's on it, dw.

that set_proc_cmdline allows us to fake this
I don't know how useful on cusrom, likely only useful for stock but hey yeah i added it in
another good shit from simonpunk
if you're capable of building your own kernel, go integrate https://gitlab.com/simonpunk/susfs4ksu

Unofficial KernelSU Manager v1.0.2-6-magic
Mirror:
https://github.com/backslashxx/KernelSU/releases/tag/v1.0.2-6
🚨 This is a personal build/fork that will only work on recent kernels of mine
Changes:
- magic mount from https://github.com/5ec1cff/KernelSU
- anything below is mostly bullshit that doesn't matter
- busybox updated
- debloat, as we dont need x86 support (7.4MB -> 4.7MB)
- has a dummy error for people that should not use this
- 🍉
Notes:
- this is highly experimental (but imo, it works well)
- you have to delete /data/adb/ksu/modules.img and /data/adb/modules
- you can use MT manager or termux whatever
- I really recommend a fresh start for no headaches
- YES, you can still use SuSFS, I recommend sidex15
Thank you 5ec1cff ❤️ for saving kernelsu 😭

WTF is a magic mount?
- this is the mounting method primarily used by magisk, imo this is BETTER.
- its like bind mount but, #@! don't make me explain shit I don't understand
- its like king crimson, it just works.
- this also is more performant than the older overlayfs mount we use
- this also solves the "journaled loop leak" issue on current KernelSU
- no more "free 1TB / 2TB upgrades from KernelSU"
Transparency:
https://github.com/backslashxx/KernelSU/commit/b4c462baad167c2df9cd98522f78ed81e61dcaf4
https://github.com/backslashxx/KernelSU/actions/runs/12220889463
For other non-gki builders:
Working tree: https://github.com/backslashxx/KernelSU/tree/magic
+ SuSFS 152: https://github.com/backslashxx/KernelSU/tree/magic-152
For GKI users, just use 5ec1cff manager, use lkm mode:
https://github.com/5ec1cff/KernelSU/actions
Im telling you bois this is so fast, you can install 100 modules and it wont be a chore!
