Myth No. 1: Non-native speakers cannot pull 9 bands
Truth: This is not truth that only native speakers can gain 9 bands in IELTS. This test is based on English so it doesn’t matter from where you belong to. The examiner tests your English level and if you have powerful English skills then no one can cut your marks. Band 9 in IELTS depicts an expert user of English. It is very easy and quite possible for non-native speakers to score 9 bands in IELTS if they perform excellently. Instead, it has been observed that some native speakers do not get 9 bands even in speaking. #IELTS

Myth No. 2: Practice previous tests to improve your performance
Truth: This is very common myth among the students who prepare for IELTS. The best way to improve your performance is not practicing old tests, rather make you perfect in all 4 modules by using different ways. Get familiar with the test once and after this you can work on your weakness. Doing tests does not really benefit you. If you do these tests you may feel that you are enough prepared for the final test, but in final you may not perform up to the mark. These tests fill your brain with their answers but the questions you will face in your real test will be totally different. Prefer listening English news, radio, conversations between 2 English speakers, English songs, movies etc. #IELTS

Myth No. 3: Learn more and more vocabulary
Truth: We are well aware that when it comes to speak or write in English, the vocabulary is of great help but it doesn’t mean that you start cramming the words. People start searching How to Improve English Vocabulary for IELTS? This practice is just required to make your communication better. But if you could not even use them properly then it is of no use so read out the words you face regularly, on routine basis. If you do not understand any word, read out its meaning, start using it and make it your own word. Learn quality words rather than learning a long list of words. This would surely help you to grab more marks. You may find the words that are commonly used in #IELTS.
