سوئد در مقطع دکتری ماهی بیست هزار کرون پرداخت میکند که هفت هزار تا برای مخارج زندگی کافی است. در کل، کشور گرونی است. تعداد پوزیشن هایی که دانشگاههای سوئدی برای مقطع دکتری اعلام میکنند خیلی کم است و گاهی فقط سوئدی ها را میپذیرند.
ولی شرایط اقامتی به سختی خیلی از کشورهای دیگر اروپایی نیست. پس از چهار سال دوره دکتری گرفتن اقامت ممکن میشود. گر چه طبق آخرین اخبار رویه اقامتی رو به سخت شدن میرود.
مشکل اصلی تعداد بسیار کم پوزیشن هاست. اقدام برای پوزیشن های دو دانشگاه "لوند" و "اوپسالا" رایگان است. در نتیجه با تلاش برای آنها و عدم موفقیت تقریبن چیزی از دست نمیدهیم. در هر دو دانشگاه قسمتی است که تمامی پوزیشن های خالی رو نوشتن. خبرنامه هم برای پوزیشن ها دارند که میتونید ایمیلتون رو وارد کنید و مطلع بشید.
در رابطه با سرمای سوئد: تا منفی بیست درجه هم میرسد. منتها لباس های مخصوص هم دارند که سرما رو تحمل پذیر میکنه. بعضی دانشگاه ها پس از پذیرش ایمیل میزنند که لباس گرم خود را در سرزمین مادری بگذارید چرا اینجا جواب نمیدهد.
نکته ی دیگه اینکه تعداد ایرانی ها در این کشور زیاد است

What's the Role of GPA in Graduate School Admissions?
Your GPA or grade point average is important to admissions committees, not because it signifies your intelligence, but instead because it is a long-term indicator how well you perform your job as student. Grades reflect your motivation and your ability to do consistently good or bad work. Usually this minimum is necessary, but not sufficient, for admission. That is, your GPA can keep the door from shutting in your face but many other factors come to play in getting accepted to graduate school.
Course Quality Can Trump Grade:
Not all grades are the same, though. Admissions committees study the courses taken: a B in Advanced Statistics is worth more than an A in Introduction to Pottery.
In other words, they consider the context of the GPA: Where was it obtained and of what courses is it comprised? In many cases, it's better to have a lower GPA composed of solid challenging courses than a high GPA based on easy courses like "Basket Weaving for Beginners" and the like. Admissions committees study your trannoscript and examine your overall GPA as well as the GPA for the courses relevant to the programs to which you're applying (e.g., GPA in science and math courses for applicants to medical school and graduate programs in the sciences). Ensure that you're taking the right courses for the graduate program to which you plan to apply.
Why Turn to Standardized Exams?
Admissions committees also understand that applicants' grade point averages often can't be meaningfully compared.
Grades can differ among universities: an A at one university may be a B+ at another. Also grades differ among professors in the same university. Because grade point averages are not standardized, it's hard to compare applicants' GPAs. Therefore admissions committees turn to standardized exams, like the GRE, MCAT, LSAT, and GMAT, to make comparisons among applicants from different universities. Therefore if you have a low GPA, it is essential that you try your best on these tests.
What If I Have a Low GPA?
If it is early in your academic career, for example you are in your sophomore year or beginning your junior year, you have time to boost your GPA. Remember that the more credits you have taken, the harder it is to raise your GPA, so try to catch a spiraling GPA before it does much damage. What it it’s too late?
Try your best (obviously).
Take high quality courses. Sure it's easy to raise your GPA with introductory courses and so-called "easy A's" but admissions committees see through those tactics. A lower GPA composed of high quality courses will do you more good than a high GPA composed of "easy" courses.

Unfortunately there is no simple answer; each graduate admissions committee is a bit different, but generally speaking, the following criteria are important to most admissions committees:
Undergraduate GPA (especially the last two years of college)
Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores
Recommendation letters
Personal statement
Sure, you knew these things were important, but let's talk more about why and the part they play in admissions decisions.
Grade Point Average (GPA)
Grades are important not as a sign of intelligence, but instead grades are a long term indicator of how well you perform your job as student.
They reflect your motivation and your ability to do consistently good or bad work. Not all grades are the same, though. Admissions committees understand that applicants' grade point averages often cannot be compared meaningfully. Grades can differ among universities - an A at one university may be a B+ at another. Also grades differ among professors in the same university. Admissions committees try to take these things into account when examining applicants' GPAs. They also look at the courses taken: a B in Advanced Statistics may be worth more than an A in Introduction to Social Problems. In other words, they consider the context of the GPA: where was it obtained and of what courses is it comprised? In many cases, it's better to have a lower GPA composed of solid challenging courses than a high GPA based on easy courses like "Basket Weaving for Beginners" and the like.
GRE Scores
Clearly, applicants' grade point averages are difficult to compare. This is where Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores come in. Whereas grade point averages are not standardized (there are enormous differences in how professors within a department, university, or country grade student work), the GRE is. Your GRE scores provide information about how you rank among your peers (that's why it's important to do your best!). Although GRE scores are standardized, departments don't weigh them in a standardized way. How a department or admissions committee evaluates GRE scores varies - some use them as cutoffs to eliminate applicants, some use them as criteria for research assistantships and other forms of funding, some look to GRE scores to offset weak GPAs,
and some admissions committees will overlook poor GRE scores if applicants demonstrate significant strengths in other areas.
Letters of Recommendation
Usually admissions committees begin the evaluation process by considering GPA and GRE score (or those of other standardized tests). These quantitative measures only tell a small part of an applicant's story. Letters of recommendation provide context within which to consider an applicant's numerical scores. Therefore it's important that the faculty who write your letters of recommendation know you well so that they can discuss the person behind the GPA and GRE scores. Generally speaking, letters written by professors known to committee members tend to carry more weight than those written by "unknowns." Letters written by well-known people in the field, if they signify that they know you well and think highly of you, can be very helpful in moving your application towards the top of the list.
Personal Statement
The personal statement, also known as the admissions essay, statement of purpose, and personal goal statement, is your chance to introduce yourself, speak directly to the admissions committee, and provide information that doesn't appear elsewhere in your application. Faculty read personal statements very closely because they reveal lots of information about applicants. Your essay is an indicator of your writing ability, motivation, ability to express yourself, maturity, passion for the field, and judgment. Admissions committees read essays with the intent to learn more about applicants, to determine if they have the qualities and attitudes needed for success, and to weed out applicants who don't fit the program.

من الان رفته بودم برای آزمایشی در موسسه علامه سخن ولی کنسل کردم
اولا از نظر خود موسسه: خیلی کوچک. میزها به هم چسبیده و فضا دلگیر.
دوما وقتی گفتم آزمایشی هستم. گفت کاپلان میخوای یا tpo. به نا گفتن که سوالای کاپلان خیلی خوبه ولی فرمتش با فرمت امتحان تافل فرق داره، tpo هم همون سی دی بود و باید از بین 1 تا 38 یکی رو انتخاب میکردیم 😳😳😳😳. در هر حال من tpo رو انتخاب کردم که شماره 27 رو برام اجرا کردند. ریدینگ روا زدم. تو لیسنینگ سر سوال 15 کامپیوتر هنگ کرد. بعد از 10 دقیقه ور رفتن با کامپیوتر به من گفتن برو بیرون تا یک کامپیوتر دیگه رو برات روشن کنیم. یک ربع طول کشید تا اینکار رو کردن. همینکه نشستم پشت کامپیوتر، این دستگاه هم هنگ کرد 😳😳😳😳😳
باز هم به من گفتن که برو بیرون تا یک کامپیوتر دیگه برات روشن کنیم. اینجا من دیگه قبول نکردم و گفتم امتحان رو کنسل کنید.
اول گفتن یک روز دیگه بیا امتحان بده که چون امتحان اصلی من جمعه است من قبول نکردم. قرار شد که پولم رو پس بدن
در هر صورت من اصلا این مرکز رو توصیه نمی کنم.
