یک پلتفرم مبتنی بر وب بوده که کلیه‌ی کورس‌های آموزشی در برترین دانشگاه دنیا یعنی MIT در آنجا منتشر می‌شود. این پلتفرم امکان دسترسی عمومی همه‌ی علاقه‌مندان به محتوای ارائه شده در کورس‌های مختلف را به صورت رایگان فراهم می‌کند.
ایده‌ی نهفته در پشت این رویکرد بسیار ساده است:

“The idea is simple: to publish all of our course materials online and make them widely available to everyone.”
