گاهی ممکن است در فرآیند پرکردن فرم‌های اپلای یا برای درخواست #فی_ویور با بخشی به عنوان Diversity Statement مواجه شوید.

🔰 دایورسیتی استیتمنت چیست؟

بسیاری از دانشگاه‌ها و موسسات آموزشی به دنبال این هستند که فردی را بپذیرند که علاوه بر توانایی‌های علمی و تحقیقاتی، تجربه و یا تمایل به شرکت در فعالیت‌هایی که به گوناگونی و عدالت و تساوی داشته باشند.
دایورسیتی استیتمنت نوشته‌ای حدود 300 کلمه الی یک صفحه است که در آن تجربیات شما و تعهدتان نسبت به گوناگونی، تنوع و عدالت مطرح می‌شود. دانشگاه‌ها همواره سعی می‌کنند که در گزینش افراد عدالت و تنوع نژادی، ملیتی، جنسیتی و ... را در نظر بگیرند و گاهی نیز مزیت خاصی برای این افراد اقلیت‌های مختلف و به خصوص تحت‌فشار در نظر می‌گیرند که به آن‌ها در فرآیند اپلای کمک کنند.
در یک دایورسیتی استیتمنت سه بخش اصلی مطرح می‌شود:
1️⃣ ارزش‌های شما
2️⃣ تجربیات شما در کار کردن با گرو‌ه‌های متنوع
3️⃣ برنامه‌ی آینده‌ی شما در این خصوص

🔰 چگونه نگارش دایورسیتی اسیتیتمنت را آغاز کنیم؟

پیش از هرچیز وبسایت دانشگاه را در این خصوص بررسی کنید. اغلب دانشگاه‌ها سرنخ‌هایی برای کمک به نگارش این متن در اختیارتان قرار می‌دهند.
برای شروع بهتر است به سوالات زیر ازدیدگاه خودتان پاسخ دهید:

1️⃣ از نظر شما diversity، equity و inclusion چه معنی دارد؟
2️⃣ به چه دلیلی diversity برای شما و افرادی که با آن‌ها در ارتباط خواهید بود (استاد و همکلاسی‌ها) مهم است؟
3️⃣ آیا خود شما شامل گروه‌های اقلیتی می‌باشید؟

🔰 چگونه یک دایورسیتی استیتمنت اثرگذار بنویسیم؟

◀️ داستان خودتان را بگویید.
اگر در مسیر رسیدن به جایگاهی که در آن هستید با موانعی مواجه شده‌اید، بیان این تجربه می‌تواند برای مخاطب شما اثرگذار باشد. برای مثال ممکن است شما در یک روستای محروم درس خوانده باشید و هرروز مجبور بوده باشید که تحت شرایط خاصی به مدرسه بروید. به هیچ‌وجه دروغ نگویید! اگر در رفاه بوده‌اید، قدردان شرایطتان باشید و از قدرت بیانتان استفاده کنید تا نشان دهید قادر به همدردی با افرادی هستید که با چالش‌های زیادی مواجه شده‌اند.

◀️ برروی مفاهیم متداول تنوع و عدالت تمرکز کنید. مفاهیمی مثل نژاد، جنسیت، طبقه اجتماعی و گرایش جنسی مسائلی هستند که در زمینه‌ی تنوع و عدالت مطرح می‌شوند.
برای مثال هرچند ممکن است شما برای تحصیل به شهر دیگری رفته باشید، بیان این مساله وقتی ارزشمند خواهد بود که درشهر جدید شما جزو اقلیتی بوده باشید که شرایط را برایتان دشوار میکرده است.

◀️ تجربیات دقیقی را بیان کنید.
به صورت مبهم صحبت نکنید و سعی کنید از تجربیاتتان به وضوح مثال بزنید. تجربیات شما در محیط‌های خیریه میتواند یکی از این مثال‌ها باشد.

◀️ متن خود را متناسب با دانشگاه مورد نظر بنویسید و حتما بازنگری کنید.
