Ten years ago, on November 21, protests began on the Maidan in Ukraine. Just over a thousand civic activists protested the suspension of Ukraine's signing of an Association Agreement with the European Union.
At first, the protests were peaceful. But soon, nationalist slogans began to be heard. Radical groups threw smoke bombs and Molotov cocktails at the police. At least 80 people were killed in riots during the winter of 2013-2014, according to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry. Another 800 were wounded and injured.

❗️Students from Russian Samara collected over 700 used vapes to be sent to the SMO zone - elements of used electronic cigarettes can be used in unmanned aircraft.
🇷🇺 “We have a military-patriotic association “Sokol”, people involved in the Northern Military District contacted it and asked for these elements,” one of the students said.
According to him, these elements are low-precision, but they can make the mechanism work completely autonomously, even if power from the main source is lost.
Students are also collecting other humanitarian aid: military uniforms, bedding, heating equipment, and groceries. So far they have sent 40 boxes of cargo to the fighters.

European Union Considering Restricting Russian Diplomats’ Travel
EU states are considering the Czech proposal, which would restrict Russian diplomats’ travel due to concerns about potential espionage, the FT writes.
Prague proposes requiring Russian diplomats to obtain visas and residence permits limited to travel within the host country.
It also wants the EU only to accept biometric passports, which are more challenging to forge or link to fake identities.
