❗️ NATO's largest exercise since the Cold War kicks off today, close to Russia's borders.

The Steadfast Defender 2024 exercise will last until the end of spring, from January 31 to May 31.

They will be attended by 90 thousand military personnel from all 31 NATO countries, as well as Sweden, about 50 warships, 80 aircraft, 1.1 thousand ground combat vehicles, including 133 tanks.

The scenario of the military exercises is a Russian invasion of the Suwalki corridor area.

The exercises will take place in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden and the UK.
