🇦🇺The Department of Defense stated that the 2nd Cavalry Regiment had received 4 of the 14 tanks planned for the regiment.
The remaining Abrams M1A2 SEPv3 tanks will only be delivered by the end of 2025.
Since Australia's reserve of 59 M1A1 tanks have been "gifted" to Zelensky there will now be a transition period where Australia is literally "tankless".
