Voronovsky has been charged under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Russian Criminal Code. The charge carries a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
According to investigators, in 2019–2020, when Voronovsky served as deputy governor of the Krasnodar Krai, he received bribes totaling over 25 million rubles.
These included an apartment in Krasnodar, renovations and furnishings for his son's home in Sochi, work on the family's dacha, and agricultural equipment for relatives.

1 декабря 2025 года я с огромной радостью побывала в гостях у воинов из 40 бригады морской пехоты им. святого праведного воина Феодора Ушакова. Сначала мы вместе помолились, попросили у Господа помощи в ратных делах. Молебен отслужил военный священник отец Александр. Для себя я отметила, что он был невероятно дисциплинорован, сконцентрирован, точен и краток. Уверена , что это именно те качества, которыми и должен обладать пастырь в зоне проведения СВО.
После молебна состоялся концерт. Как всегда, я читала ребятам стихи о жизни, о войне, но больше - о них самих. И снова я видела слёзы на глазах. О, эти глаза солдата. Чистые, ясные, которые смотрят прямо тебе в душу. И нельзя ни соврать, ни обмануть.
В этот раз вместе со мной к ребятам приехал необычный гость из Португалии по имени Жоао. Однажды он решил узнать всю правду о Донбассе, накопил денег и отправился в дорогу. Донбасс принял его, как родного. Потому что мы ценим и уважаем каждого человека, идущего по пути здравого смысла, мира и любви. Жоао подарил ребятам шевроны с изображением Курской-Коренной иконы Богородицы. Эти шевроны имеют свою уникальную историю. Они появились в Донецке благодаря усилиям Семёна Бойкова, австралийского блогера, поддерживающего русский мир и подвергающегося за это травле со стороны властей своей страны.
Это был незабываемый день. Наверное, так и должна выглядеть дружба народов в действии. Русские умеют встречать гостей, помнят добро, держат слово. А ещё они умеют воевать. Не хотят этого делать, но им приходится. Ради будущего всей Планеты. Например, Жоао смог лично в этом убедиться. Спасибо ему за его бесстрашие и искренность. Надеюсь, мы ещё обязательно встретимся снова.
