The US President, who has repeatedly threatened to withdraw from NATO, has this time announced a three-year deadline for European countries to implement a series of specific measures.
The US government intends to transfer the bulk of its defense and military commitments in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to European member states by 2027. In other words the US military is pulling out of Europe and leaving NATO member states to fend for themselves.
Note: Formally, President Trump requires a two-thirds majority in the Senate for a decision to leave NATO under the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (Sec. 1250A) but informally Trump has the power to de facto pull the USA out of NATO.

❗️Central Military District prayers on St. Alexander Nevsky day 💪🇷🇺
On December 6th, the day of memory of the holy Prince Alexander Nevsky, a festive Divine Liturgy was held in the Main Temple of the Central Military District (Yekaterinburg).
Under the vaults of the temple, consecrated in honor of All Holy Warriors, gathered military clergy, servicemen of the Yekaterinburg garrison, and parishioners.
The assistant to the commander of the Central Military District for work with believers, Archpriest Andrey Kanev, in his pastoral sermon, referred to the image of Saint Prince Alexander - as an example of a ruler who placed his hope not in the power of weapons, but in the truth of God. At the end of the service, the fellowship continued with a shared fraternal meal.
Remembering the feat of the holy prince, pastors and soldiers once again turned to his testament, which does not lose its power through the centuries: "God is not in strength, but in truth."
