Ibn Umar reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to the people. The most beloved deed to Allah is to make a Muslim happy, or to remove one of his troubles, or to forgive his debt, or to feed his hunger. That I walk with a brother regarding a need is more beloved to me than that I seclude myself in this mosque in Medina for a month. Whoever swallows his anger, then Allah will conceal his faults. Whoever suppresses his rage, even though he could fulfill his anger if he wished, then Allah will secure his heart on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever walks with his brother regarding a need until he secures it for him, then Allah the Exalted will make his footing firm across the bridge on the day when the footings are shaken.”

*شهر رمضان بالإستغفار*
*Seal the Month of Ramadan with Seeking Forgiveness*
Translated
by
Abbas Abu Yahya
Ibn Rajab -Rahimahullaah- said:
‘Seeking forgiveness is a seal for all righteous deeds.
It seals the prayer, Hajj, Qayyam al-Layl the night prayer and it seals gatherings.
Therefore, if it was a Remembrance of Allaah then it is like putting a stamp of seal on it and if there were mistakes and deficiencies then it would be an expiation for it.
Likewise it is befitting to complete the month of Ramadan with seeking forgiveness.
Umar bin AbdulAziz wrote to the different regions commanding them to complete Ramadan with seeking forgiveness and giving Sadaqa al-Fitr.
Indeed Sadaqa al-Fitr is purification for the fasting person from mistakes and evil deeds and seeking forgiveness patches that which is torn from the fast due to mistakes and evil deeds.
This is why some of the previous scholars said: ‘Indeed Sadaqa al-Fitr for the fasting person is like performing the two Sajdas for forgetfulness for the prayer.’
Umar bin AbdulAziz (died 101 A.H.) -Rahimahullaah- said in his book, say as your father Adam said:
{رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ}
《They said: “Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.”》[Ara’af:23]
Say as Nuh -alayhi as salam- said:
{وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُنْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ}
《 And unless You forgive me and have Mercy on me, I would indeed be one of the losers.”》[Hud:47]
Say as Musa -alayhi as salam- said:
{رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي}
《”My Lord! Verily, I have wronged myself, so forgive me.”》[Qasas: 16]
Say as Dhul-Noon -alayhi as salam – said:
{سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ}
《Glorified (and Exalted) are You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers.”》[al-Anbiyya:87]

Final Thoughts Before The Conclusion Of The Month Of Ramadhaan:
The month of Ramadhaan is departing, but do not be sad upon its departure. Rather, praise Allaah that He has allowed you to reach this blessed month. Be happy and declare the greatness of your Lord that He has guided you to Fast in it and offer the night prayers.
The month of Ramadhaan is departing, but don't let these good deeds depart with it. Do not bid farewell to these good deeds. Take them and continue with them - not only till the end of the year - but rather till the end of your lives.
Ramadhaan is not merely a month. Rather, it is a way of life, and a beginning of a change towards good.
Remember, Salaah does not end with Ramadhaan, neither does Fasting end with Ramadhaan, nor does the recitation of the Qur'aan end with Ramadhaan.
Remember, the Lord of Ramadhaan is also the Lord of Shawwaal, Dhul-Qa`dah, and other months.
So, do not abandon Fasting in other months (i.e., Fast a few days every month).
And do not abandon the recitation of the Qur’aan in other months.
And do not abandon the Masaajid in other months.
وَاعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ الْيَقِينُ
{And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death)}
📚 [Surah al-Hijr (15):99]
May Allaah accept our good deeds and allow us to continue doing them even after Ramadhaan. Aameen

Attachments
Attachments are everything that the heart gets deeply attached to besides Allah and His Messenger (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam), like worldly pleasures, desires, leadership, being in the company of people and loving them.
There is no way at all to cut off or reject these three matters except by strong attachment to the highest issue. Man does not abandon his beloved or that which is used to except for the sake of another beloved one who is dearer to him than the former. And whenever his attachment to his desires becomes stronger, his attachment to others would be weaker, and vice versa.
To be attached to desires is to have a strong desire for them, and that is according to one’s knowledge about it, its honor and its excellence.

“The hearts of the righteous people are filled with longing, lamenting from the pain of departure[of Ramadhaan].
How can a believer not shed tears upon its [Ramadhaan] departure when he does not know if he will live to see it again?
O Ramadhaan! Be gentle, the tears of your lovers are pouring out. Their hearts are torn from the pain of your departure.
Perhaps standing to bid you farewell will extinguish the burning fire of longing.
Perhaps taking a moment to repent will mend everything that has been torn in past.
Perhaps one cut off from the procession of those whose fast has been accepted will be joined with them.
Perhaps the one imprisoned by his sins will be freed.
Perhaps one deserving to be punished in Hell will be liberated.
Perhaps the mercy of the Lord will be granted to the sinner."
O Ramadhaan! Be gentle, the tears of your lovers are pouring out.

Ask any Muslim how they'd feel if their husband/wife honored them one month out of the year. They'll surely feel disrespected & disgusted just by the idea. They'll shout "What kind of nutcase would do that!"
Well, the Muslims who only worship Allah in Ramadaan are in fact even worse. Allah provides for them 12 months out of the year, but they only see it fit to worship Him one month out of the year!? This here is the height of insolence.

“The Disease and the Cure” (الداء والدواء) The medicine for the love :
*For whoever loves something other than God will inevitably be punished for it.* There is nothing on earth more miserable than a lover, and if he finds desires sweet in taste, you will see him crying at all times out of fear of separation or longing. He will cry if they move away, out of longing for them. He will cry if they approach, wary of separation. His eyes will heat up when parting, and his eyes will heat up when they meet. Love, if the lover is tormented by it, Then it is one of the greatest torments of the heart!

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙄𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙨 (𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙡)
‘Abdul-Rahman Ibn Ziyad Ibn An’um said:
‘While [Prophet] Musa (‘alaihis-salaam) was in a gathering Iblis came wearing a hooded cape that changed in colors. When the devil came nearer he took off the cape and set it down and came to Musa saying: ‘Peace be upon you. Musa replied: ‘Who are you?’ He said: ‘I am Iblis. ‘ Musa responded: ‘No greetings from Allah to you, what brought you here?’ The devil said: ‘I came to greet you because of your high godly status.’ Musa said: ‘What have I seen you wearing?’ Iblis replied: ‘I use it (the cape) to capture the hearts of the sons of Adam.’ Musa asked: ‘What is it that if a human does will enable you to take him over?’ He replied: ‘If he becomes fond of himself, and considered his (good) deeds plentiful .’ I warn you from three things:
First, never be alone with a woman that is not lawful to you, because, whenever someone does so, I personally accompany him and use her to seduce him.
Second, never promise Allah something except that you fulfil your promise. Whenever someone promises Allah something I personally accompany him to prevent him from fulfilling his promise.
(Third) And never take an amount of money to give charity except that you make sure you give it to that charity. Whenever someone takes an amount of money to give to charity, I personally accompany him to persuade him not to give it.
Then Iblis walked away saying: ‘Woe to me, thrice, I have taught [Prophet] Musa from what to warn the sons of Adam.’

🍃Beautiful advice from the Shaykh Al ‘Allaamah 'Abdul 'Azeez Ibn Baaz (رحمه الله):
🔘It was said to the shaykh,
*“Oh shaykh, so and so has become misguided”* .
The Shaykh replied:
🔘“Perhaps his deviation was due to two things:
1. He didn’t ask Allâh for *Ath-thabaat* (firmness).
2. He didn’t thank Allâh for *Al-Istiqaamah* (steadfastness)
So when Allâh chose for you the path of guidance, it was _not_ because you are special, nor was it because of your obedience. But rather, it was a mercy from Him that enveloped you. *He can remove it from you at any time*.
Therefore, _do not_ be deceived by your actions, nor by your worship. And do not look down upon the one who has deviated from His path. *For had it not been due to His mercy*, you would have been in his position.
Repeat the recitation of this verse while pondering:
﴿ ولوﻵ أن ثبتناك لقد كدت تركن إليهم شيئا قليلا ﴾
"Had We not made you firm (Oh Muhammed صلى الله عيه وسلم) *then you would have inclined towards them slightly*.”
So upon you is *TO NOT THINK* that thabaat (firmness) and being upon Al-Istiqaamah (steadfastness) is due to your own personal achievements.
Ponder over His statement (Ta'aalaa) to the best of mankind: “ *Had We not made you firm (Oh Muhammad صلى الله عيه وسلم* ).”
*So how about you?!*
We are greatly mistaken when we disregard and pay no attention to our adhkaar (supplications of remembrance). We believe it to be something that is not important and *we forget that Allâh preserves us with it*. And perhaps the decree will change…
Ibnul-Qayyim رحمه الله says:
“ *The need of the servant in his supplications by which he seeks refuge [in Allah], is more severe than his need for food, drink and clothes!”*
Be consistent in your adhkaar (supplications of remembrance), so that you can encompass the meaning:
*“Preserve Allâh, He will preserve you.”*
*Fortify* [yourselves] every morning and evening [with your adhkaar (supplications of remembrance)]. For the dunya (life of this world) *is horrifying and full of surprises* and Allâh is the protector of His servants.
