*Wastefulness By Extravagance Is From The Evils of Life*
"Wastefulness and extravagance in every single affair is one of the evils of this life. The Believer should take the middle course in all of his affairs. The female Believer should do the same and He,the Sublime and Exalted, has informed us of the status of the spendthrifts in His saying, "But spend not watefully(your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift. Verily, the spendthrifts are brothers of the Shayaateen(devils),and the Shaytan is ever ungrateful to his Lord." (17:26-27)
"Thus, the spendthrift wastes money and cannot be trusted with wealth. Wealth has a great affair and beneficial wealth that is spent in the sake of Allah is a most excellent aid for a righteous man. Therefore it is obligatory to preserve wealth and not to wate it. Due to this there is a severe threat for the one who gives false testimony because of that which this entails from taking someone's wealth, spilling their blood, and attacking their honor unjustfully. He(sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said,
"Shall I not inform you of the biggest of the major sins?" We responded,"Of course O Messenger of Allah!" He went on to mention them: "Associating partners with Allah in worship and being undutiful to parents." The Messenger of Allah(sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) sat up from a reclining position and then said,"And giving a forged statement or a false testimony."
Allah(subahnahu wa ta ala) Says: "But spend not wastefully your wealth in the manner of a spendthrift.
"He,the Sublime, warns from at-Tabdheer,which is spending wealth on unlawful things. For example, spending wealth to oppress people or harm them,or spending it on oppressing one's self such as spending it on intoxicants, narcotics, cigarettes, fornication and adultery, and the rest of acts of disobedience, such as gambling and games of chance and the likes.
Also is the ruling for destroying it[wealth] without right such as excessive spending and purchasing products of which you have no need. This is from wasting wealth and from at-Tabdheer,and the Messenger of Allah(sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has forbid wasting money."
"Thus,at-Tabdheer is spending wealth in its incorrect ways, either acts of disobedience or on that which contains no benefit, out of play or neglecting money. As for al_israaf then it is in the excess,un-necessary spending. For example: a person eats and drinks extra food and drink without need, such as if a kilo of food or a kilo of meat is enough for him,but he adds more food or meat that he is not in need of. Consequently, the leftover food is thrown in the dirt or the garbage; this is called Israaf."
"Destroying wealth without a just cause and wasting it is also called tabdheer. He,the Sublime, has clarified that those who make tabdheer are brothers of the Shayateen because they imitate them in play, wasting and disobedience."

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Many people, when they see evil or when the Muslim ummah goes through a lot of trouble, panic, lose hope and start complaining as people who are beset by calamities do. But this is forbidden; rather what is enjoined is to be patient, to put one’s trust in Allah, to be steadfast in adhering to the religion of Islam and to believe that Allah is with those who fear Him and those who do good, and that the best end is for those who fear Him; whatever befalls him is because of his sins, so he should be patient, for the promise of Allah is true; he should seek forgiveness for his sins and glorify and praise his Lord morning and evening.
End quote from Majmoo‘ al-Fataawa, 18/295

THE FLUCTUATIONS OF TIME ARE TESTS FROM ALLĀH
Glory is to Allāh Who subjects His slaves (to trials) in order to test their patience and expose their true nature in times of hardship!
Angels prostrated to Adam ('alayhi as-salām), while shortly thereafter he was expelled from Paradise (jannah).
Nūh ('alayhi as-salām) was beaten until fainted, while shortly thereafter he was rescued in the ark, and his enemies were destroyed.
Ibrāhīm ('alayhi as-salām) was thrown in the fire, and then came out to safety (salāma).
Isma'eel ('alayhi as-salām) lied down in surrender to be slaughtered, then he came to safety, and his praise remained.
Ya'qūb ('alayhi as-salām) lost his eyesight after losing his son, and then he regained it after reuniting with his son.
Mūsā ('alayhi as-salām) was a shepherd, and then was elevated to a rank where he spoke to Allāh (taqlīm).
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was an orphan and faced many hardships from his enemies, and from financial difficulties; yet he persevered and was firm as a mountain. After his objective was fulfilled and when he conquered Makkah, the Angel of death came to him and took his soul while going through the pangs of death.
Whoever observes the sea of life, knows how its waves should be received and know how to be patient while dealing the changing days, will not panic when calamity (bilā') strikes. And will not become overly happy when good times (rikhā') arrive immediately.

"If you stop going to the mosque, there are many others who will go instead....
If you forget the Qur'an, there are many others who will memorise it...
If you distance yourself from Allah, there are many others who will draw close to Him....
And know that every time it is you who will be the loser
"والله الغني وأنتم الفقراء وإن تتولّوا يستبدل قوما غيركم ثمّ لا يكونوا أمثالكم "

If the people knew the sweetness, and benefits in pondering over the Qurʾān when reading it, they would have kept themselves busy with nothing else but reading Qurʾān.
For reading and pondering over one verse is better than a ḵẖatma (completion of the whole Qurʾān) without contemplation nor understanding.
It's also more beneficial to the heart, attains Īmān and makes one taste the sweetness of the Qurʾān.

At this point in this life. I want to utter some serious words.
We all are broken, really. Broken seeing the pain of our brother and sisters. The word pain is not enough to describe what they are going through.
I want to say that may Allah forgive us. This life is indeed short and we all are going to die one day. May Allah make our end good. Our death a source of blessings for us. We as Muslims know our purpose on this earth is to worship Allah in many ways from acts of worship to following the commandment of Allah in our daily lives. This is the real success and passing in the examination.
Palestinians are actually victories! They are indeed.
They are so strong in their faith. May Allah grant us such strong tawakkul so that we too accompany the martyrs in Jannah.
The hearts are tired and hurt, and eyes are crying, but we will only say what pleases our Lord.
May Allah bless you all. 🖊️

Excuse One Another
Anyone who has any ties with the people will suffer at their hands at some time or another. When facing their bad behavior, he should excuse and overlook, and he should know with certainty that his act of excusing them, overlooking, and responding with kindness will cause the animosity they have for their brother to turn into friendship, love, and closeness. Allaah, the Exalted, has said:
﴿وَلَا تَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡحَسَنَةُ وَلَا ٱلسَّيِّئَةُۚ ٱدۡفَعۡ بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُ فَإِذَا ٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَكَ وَبَيۡنَهُۥ عَدَٰوَةٞ كَأَنَّهُۥ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٞ﴾

📖 Ibn Umar RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: "The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to the people. The most beloved deed to Allah is to make a Muslim happy, or to remove one of his troubles, or to forgive his debt, or to feed his hunger. That I walk with a brother regarding a need is more beloved to me than that I seclude myself in this mosque in Medina for a month. Whoever swallows his anger, then Allah will conceal his faults. Whoever suppresses his rage, even though he could fulfill his anger if he wished, then Allah will secure his heart on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever walks with his brother regarding a need until he secures it for him, then Allah the Exalted will make his footing firm across the bridge on the day when the footings are shaken."

Apply the rule of سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا (We hear and We Obey) in your life without worrying about the consequences, and you will see how Allāh helps you and grants you victory in your goals.
Sometimes we don't follow obligations just because we fear the consequences or we have just so many excuses. But from what I have witnessed in my life, just follow the rule of سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا, only once, without worrying about the consequences or giving any excuses, and see how Allāh helps you to stay firm on it. Notice how the tables turn and slowly everything gets in your favor.
This made me more firm in this beautiful rule, and it helped me to improve myself without giving excuses. You will see yourself being humble enough to accept advices and you will practice Sabr. Try it once and you won't be able to stop yourself from following this amazing rule, In sha Allah 🤍

* The Life Of Hereafter Is Like An Ocean And The Worldly Life Is Like The Proportion Of Water Left On One's Finger When Dipped In The Sea!
Al-Mustaurad bin Shaddad (May allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (swalla-Allaahu alayhi wa-sallam) said,
"This world (i.e., its pleasures and duration) in comparison with the Hereafter is (similar to the amount of water) one gets when he puts his finger in the sea. Let him then see what it returns with".

This Hadith shows the value of the Hereafter and its blessings compared to the worldly life.
The proportion between the two is that the former is like an ocean while the latter is like the proportion of water left on one's finger when dipped in the sea!.

If we only ponder over this, it is truly alarming because we're already living through it. 💔
It's so sad how many of us would rather listen to "muslim influencers" than to scholars, it's sad that we don't want to seek proper knowledge and would rather take information from strangers on social media, it's sad that we no longer know how to respect trusted scholars and think we are more knowledgeable than them when we don't even memorize a single hadith with its isnaad!
May Allaah help us from falling into error and misguidance. 🤲
