It was narrated from ‘Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Perform Hajj and ‘Umrah, one after the other, for performing them one after the other removes poverty and sin as the bellows removes impurity from iron.”
Another chain reports a similar hadith.

Pure Justice

It is established in the Ṣaḥīḥ that the Prophet (ﷺ) said,

When a servant desires to commit a sin, nothing is recorded against him, if he then leaves that sin for the sake of Allāh, one good deed is recorded for him, if he commits that sin, one sin is recorded for him, if he leaves that sin, but not for the sake of Allāh, no sin or reward is recorded for him.

Convey 'Ilm Even If It’s An Āyah

“Whoever conceals knowledge (from people), Allāh will make him wear a BRIDLE MADE OF FIRE on the Day of Resurrection.”

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on these (first ten days of Dhul Hijja)." Then some companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Not even Jihad?" He replied, "Not even Jihad, except that of a man who does it by putting himself and his property in danger (for Allah's sake) and does not return with any of those things."

‎Now a days people rush to give fatwa even though they have the least of knowledge.

When Imām Mālik رحمه الله was asked about a matter (i.e. to give a fatwá), it was as if he was standing between Jannah and Jahannam.

A muslim girl in Islam is kept under the protection of her father and her husband for the rest of her life and is highly encouraged to give importance and respect to her husband. She therefore gets or uses the property of her father and her husband ie 2 shares of property.

A muslim boy gets 2 shares of property from his father and is not allowed to demand dowry from his wife and his warned greatly from Allah in the Qur'an not to eat up the property of his sisters.

Sometimes the father is rich, sometimes the husband and it applies for both son and the daughter. Also, that's why it's best to marry your daughter to someone with a similar financial status as yours or higher, of course after keeping religiosity as the prime factor. If not rich but religious, then Allah says he will bestow such out of his grace (fadl) in the Qur'an and the keys of Rizq are with Allah alone.

2 shares for each boy = 2 shares for each girl.

Where is the injustice in this by Islam ? Infact, it is the most just law by the only supreme lord, Allah.. if only people give thought or fear him.

Kindness Is Something Easy
True Brothers

Shaykh 'Abd Ul-'Azīz Ibn Bāz ﺭﺣﻤﻪ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ said:

"So your brother is the one who advises you, reminds you and alerts you. Your brother is not the one who gives you no thought, avoids you, or speaks to you with pretty words that lack real truth and sincerity. Rather, your brother, in reality, is the one who advises you, the one who admonishes you and reminds you. He calls you to Allāh, keeps explaining to you the path to deliverance clearly until you follow it, and warns you about the path to destruction - he keeps explaining to you how evil its end is until you avoid it.

“The thing I fear for you most is following desires and having extensive hopes (about this worldly life). Following one’s desires blocks you from the truth, and having extensive hopes makes you forget the hereafter. Verily, this worldly life is departing and the hereafter is approaching and each of them has its children. So be children of the hereafter, not children of this world, for today there are (opportunities to do) deeds and there is no reckoning, but tomorrow there will be reckoning and no deeds.” [Aboo Nu’aym, Hilyah Al-Awliyaa’, 1/40]

Abdullaah Ibn Al-Mubaarak said:
“Know that death nowadays is an honour for every Muslim who meets Allah adhering to the Sunnah. Verily, to Allah we belong and unto Him is our return. It is to Allah that we complain of our Alienation, the passing away of our brothers, the lack of support and the emergence of bid’ah. it is to Allah that we complain of the great calamity that has befallen this ummah because of the passing away of the scholars and Ahl as-Sunnah, and the emergence of bid’ah.”

Learn from life's lessons, even bad experiences.

It is important for growth and development.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"The believer is not stung from the same hole twice."

All praise belongs to Allaah.

Most people entertain bad thoughts about Allaah regarding their own personal situations and the situations of others. The only ones who remain safe from this are those who truly know Allaah, His Names, His Attributes, and what His Wisdom and Right to be praised really entails.

So let every sincere, sound-minded individual focus on himself regarding this, and then repent to Allaah and seek His Forgiveness from the negative notions he entertains about his Lord.

Look closely at anyone! You will find that people become upset with Qadr and blame things on it, saying that, “It should have been this way or that way…”

Some people behave this way only rarely, others more commonly!

Inspect yourself – Are you innocent!?

If you are saved from it, you are safe from something terrible…
But really, I doubt you are even safe!

Sayyida Hajar (alayha-salam) was left alone in the desert, with very little provisions and her baby son.

In our times if this happened there would either be an uproar, but as a faith-based experience, I get the wisdom and importance of such a life-changing, heart-rendering lived experience for a woman.

I appreciate the sheer heartache Prophet Ibrahim (alayhi-salam) must have felt as he put Allah (swt) above his own needs and love. I appreciate the hardship of not knowing your future or the reasons behind your test, but putting your deep trust in Allah (swt) and fully believing that He will protect, honour and support you and the ones you love throughout.

Sayyidah Hajar (alayha-salam) speaks for many, not only as a husband and wife dynamic but also as a mother and a person who has to raise herself up and find purpose and meaning alone.

Ultimately I believe Allah (swt) wanted to teach us: that these experiences show us that we have the strength, intelligence, self-worth, faith, and resilience to be women of faith, and purpose and have the confidence about moving forward, whatever tests come by us. This was a true actualisation of faith: a lived experience and masterclass in tawhid.

Several months ago, I sat in the park and watched my three-year-old playing and I said to myself, I would do anything for you. My love, my heart, and my being at that moment swelled up. I can imagine Sayyida Hajar lovingly looking at her her son, Ismail, with even more desperation and love. Look how Allah (swt) supported her and recognised her story provides comfort to ALL women.

You can run far and wide to support your child and you don't exactly know where you are running, but you will keep running until you find Him. It's beautiful. How these life experiences and journeys always take you back to Allah (swt). These are my many Dhul-Hijjah reflections.
