Five Levels of Prayer:
When it comes to prayer, people are of five
levels:
1. Negligent.
The first is the level of the one who wrongs
himself and is negligent. He does not do the
wudhu (ablution) properly, or pray at the right
time or make sure he does all the necessary
parts of prayer.
2. Overwhelmed with Wasawis.
The second is one who observes the outward
essentials of prayer, prays on time and does
wudhu, but he has lost the battle against his
own self and is overwhelmed with wasawis
(insinuations).
3. Struggles.
The third is one who observes the outward
essentials of prayer, prays on time and does
wudhu, and also strives against his own self
and against wasawis, but he is preoccupied
with his struggle against his enemy (i.e. the
Shaytaan), lest he steal from his prayer, so he is
engaged in salaah and jihaad (struggle) at the
same time.
4. Focused Heart.
The fourth is one who when he stands up to
pray, he fulfills all the requirements of the
prayer, and his heart is fully focused and alert
lest he omit anything, and his concern is to do
the prayer properly and perfectly. His heart is
deeply immersed in his prayer and worship of
his Lord.
5. Complete Submission.
The fifth is one who does all of that, but he
takes his heart and places it before his Lord,
looking at his Lord with his heart and focusing
on Him, filled with love and adoration, as if he is actually seeing Him. That waswaas and those thoughts diminish, and the barriers between him and his Lord are lifted. The difference between the prayer of this person and the prayer of anyone is else is greater than the difference between heaven and earth. When this person prays, he is preoccupied with his Lord and content with Him.
1.The first type is punishable.
2.The second is accountable.
3.The third is striving so he is not counted as a
sinner.
4.The fourth is rewarded.
5.The fifth is drawn close to his Lord, because
he is one of those for whom prayer is a source
of joy.
Whoever finds their joy in prayer in this life, will
find their joy in being close to Allah in the
Hereafter, and will also find his joy in Allah in
this world. Whoever finds his joy in Allah will be
content with everything, and whoever does not
find his joy in Allah, will be destroyed by his
feelings of grief and regret for worldly matters.

WHEN HONESTY IS LOST, WAIT FOR THE HOUR.
O Muslim look around you! Do you see this prophesy already taking shape and becoming a reality? If you don't then something is wrong with you.
This was the exception but increasingly becoming the norm and people subjected to untold oppression as a result. Time for all to flee to Allah is not far from now.
Narrated Abu Huraira (radiAllahuanhu):Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said,
"When honesty is lost, then wait for the Hour."
It was asked, "How will honesty be lost, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?"
He said, "When authority is given to those who do not deserve it, then wait for the Hour." [Sahih al-Bukhari 6496]

Are u Unhappy with the Qadr of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى?
So many of us fall into this, read & examine yourself akhawaat & change ur attitude:
That’s just great! This is why I hate Mondays!”
“What is wrong with this laptop? Another virus!! And of course this would happen NOW, when I have all this important work to finish!!”
“The car seems to break down every time I’m running late!”
“My stupid cellphone keeps shutting down…!”
“Oh great! One more red light! As if I’m not late enough!”
“I stoved my toe on that stupid table!”
These small everyday trials we face and the emotions we react with are all part of our personal test. Our reactions, beliefs, and statements are all being recorded!
With the above mentioned complaints and reactions, who are we actually displeased with? We know that the table didn’t do anything to our toe, right? We know that cars, cellphones, and laptops don’t actually choose to do things to harm us in reality, right?
So then, again – WHO or WHAT are we really displeased with when uttering these kinds of statements?
We desperately need our spouses, friends, and companions to remind us, quite simply, with the following question:
Are you unhappy with the Qadr of Allaah?
Let us replace the bad reactions mentioned with the very best guidance available, the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad ( صلى الله عليه و سلم):
وإن أصابك شيء فلا تقل لو أني فعلت كذا لكان كذا وكذا لكن قل قدر الله وما شاء فعل…
“…And if something (bad) befalls you, do not say, ‘Had I only done such-and-such, then such-and-such would have happened, rather say: Qadrullaahi, wa maa shaa’ fa’ala (This is from the Qadr of Allaah, and He does whatever He wills).” [Saheeh Muslim]
Let us affirm everything we face as the Qadr of Allaah, submit to Allaah being pleased with the trial He (and no one else) has chosen for us, and be afraid of a bad reaction that would be written against us and handed to us on the Day of Account.
And Allaah knows best.

Consolation of the believers
There are different ways of consoling the believers:
Consolation with wealth,
Consolation with high rank,
Consolation with body and service,
Consolation with advice and instruction,
Consolation with supplication and seeking forgiveness for them,
Consolation by sympathizing with them.
These forms of consolation are according to the faith of the servant. Whenever the faith is weak, the consolation would also be weak. But whenever the faith is firm, the consolation would also be so. The Messenger of Allah (saws) was the person who consoled the Companions (radiAllahu anhum) the most, and his followers' consolation is according to the degree in which they follow him.
Some people once visited Bishr al-Hafi on a very cold day. He had no clothes on and was shaking. They said: "O Abu Nasr, what is this?"
He said: "I remembered the poor people and the cold weather they are suffering from, and as I have nothing to console them, I decided to sympathize with them in their cold weather."

And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins
[3:135]
Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه said "I was told when this Ayah was revealed, Iblis cried."
_
Al-Bara’ reported: A man said to him, “O Abu ‘Umarah, the verse: Do not throw yourself to destructions by your own hands (2:195). Is it a man who meets the enemy in battle and he fights until he is killed?”
Al-Bara’ said, “No, rather it is that a man commits a sin and he says: Allah will not forgive me.”
[Shu’ab al-Iman 6691]

The ayah continues..
وَمَن يَغۡفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ

Shaddad ibn Aws رضي الله عنه reported: The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The wise man is one who holds himself accountable and performs good deeds to prepare for what comes after death. The foolish man is one who gives into his lowly desires and seeks their indulgence from Allah.”
[Sunan al-Tirmidhi 2459, Grade: Hasan (fair)]

Meaning, He Sins and while Sinning he thinks that Allah ﷻ will forgive him so why not just go ahead and do more sins. This is foolish to think anyone can outsmart the All-Knowing, All-Hearing Allah ﷻ.

Allah ﷻ will only forgive if you are sincere.
Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنهreported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

O son of Adam, if you have sins piling up to the clouds and then ask for My forgiveness, I will forgive you without hesitation. O son of Adam, if you come to Me with enough sins to fill the earth and then you meet Me without associating anything with Me, I will come to you with enough forgiveness to fill the earth.”

THE OWNER OF TWO WINGS
Jafar ibn Abi Talib (جعفر بن أبي طالب)
He was ten years older than his brother Ali. Thus, he lived to be 40 years old, or slightly older. Ibn Umar said, "I was with them during this battle. When I looked over Jafar's body, I saw he had around 90 arrow and stab wounds."
The Prophet ﷺ said:
رَأَيْتُ جَعْفَرًا يَطِيرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مَعَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ
I saw Jafar flying in Paradise with the angels.¹
Salim ibn Abi al-Jad (سَالِمُ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ) said,
"The Prophet ﷺ was shown Jafar, and he had two blood-stained wings. This is because he fought until his arms were cut off."²
When ibn Umar would greet Jafar's son Abdullah, he would say, "Salam upon the son of the owner of two wings."³

Signs of a Diseased Heart…
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
• One does not feel any hurt or pain when he commits evil deeds and sins.
• One finds both pleasure in committing sins and tranquility after doing them.
• One looks after less important matters and neglects more important and critical ones.
• One dislikes the truth and has difficulty accepting or submitting to it.
• One feels discomfort being in the company of the righteous and feels comfort in the company of the sinful.
• One is susceptible to misconceptions and doubts, and is attracted to debates and arguments about them rather than to reading Qur’an and other such beneficial acts.
• One is not affected by any kind of admonition.

Why didn't Umar radiallahu anhu go to Allah's Messenger's grave (peace and blessings be upon him) and invoke Allah for rain? Why did he go to the prophets uncle?
Report Narrated / Authority of: Anas
Whenever drought threatened them, 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, used to ask Al-Abbas bin 'Abdul Muttalib to invoke Allah for rain. He used to say, "O Allah! We used to ask our Prophet to invoke You for rain, and You would bless us with rain, and now we ask his uncle to invoke You for rain. O Allah ! Bless us with rain."(1) And so it would rain.
Hadith no: 123 sahih al bukhari chapter 14
If going to graves and invoking allah, seeking blessings and tawassul was allowed wouldn't Umar (one of the great companions) gone to the best grave our prophets (peace and blessings be upon him) ???
Do you claim to know more than Umar radiallahu anhu? Are you more pious than Umar?

The Lock on the Door
we always lock our doors before going outside to protect our valuable properties from the thieves. I have seen people with more than 3 locks on the door & some also have a specialized integrated alarm system against forceful entry! Some also have 24 hours live monitoring systems built in the house. Then one day I was thinking, it is quite sad that we use so many locks in order to safeguard some belonging but, we have little or no locks at all in ourselves to safeguard our Imaan from shaytan & evils of this world. This Imaan, which is more precious than any material thing, needs more protection than our belongings....

[al-Bayhaqi رحمه الله, Shu’ab al-Eemaan, 8996]
Isolate yourself from that which harms you (bad company etc),

Hasan Al-Basri (رحمه الله) advised some of his students admonishing them about avoiding the state of being proud. He said:
1) Do not deceive yourself into becoming too proud because you are in a good or righteous environment, for there is no place that is better than Paradise, and our father Adam ءليه اسلام experienced there what is known to all.
2) Do not become proud merely because you worship often, for consider what happened to Iblis (Satan/Shaitaan) after he spent a great deal of time worshiping.
3) Do not think yourself great because you have met with righteous people, for there is no man more righteous than the Prophet ﷺ yet the disbelievers and hypocrites did not benefit by simply knowing him.

YOU'LL FIND IN HONEY A DEFINITE CURE.
Sahih Bukhari: Volume 7, Book 71, Number 588:
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri (radiAllahuanhu):
A man came to the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) and said,
"My brother has some abdominal trouble."
The Prophet (salallāhu alaihiwa-salaam) told him "Let him drink honey."
The man came for the second time and the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) said to him, 'Let him drink honey."
He came for the third time and the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) said, "Let him drink honey."
He returned again and said, "I have done that ' The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) then said, "Allah has said the truth, but your brother's abdomen has told a lie. Let him drink honey." So he made him drink honey and he was cured.

📌 A simple breath…
Ibn al-Dunya mentioned that the Prophet Dawud (alayhi salam) asked
Allāh:
"What is the least of your blessings?.”
Allāh revealed to him,
"O Dawud, take a breath."
Dawud did so, and Allāh told him:
"That is the least of My Blessings on
you.”

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and he said, “Advise me.” The Prophet ﷺ said, “Do not be angry.” The man repeated his request and the Prophet said, “Do not be angry.”
[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī: 6116]
Explanation by Shaykh Sālih al-Fawzān:
The Messenger ﷺ used to get angry but he would not vent it except if the anger is for the sake of Allāh. He was lenient and never retaliated for himself despite the difficulties he faced from the people. He would forbear, forgive, and be nice to the one who has angered him because of His saying:
"But whoever forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allāh." [42:40]
Medication for anger;
1st - As much as possible, do not get angry.
2nd - When you get angry, do not express it; rather you should exercise patience, endurance, and forbearance.
