📌 The pain of what has passed:

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله writes:

“(The pain) of what has passed can not be removed by grieving over it, but only through:

• Acceptance (i.e. being pleased with Allāh’s Decree) (al-Ridhaa)

• Gratitude (al-Hamd)

• Patience (al-Sabr)

• Faith in Predestination
(al-Imaan bil-Qadr)

and the saying of the slave:

“It is the decree of Allāh and what He Wills, He Does” (قَدَّرَ اللَّهُ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ)."

"Calamities, trials and tests are signs of love from Allāh for the believers. They are comparable to a cure; although it may be bitter, you accept it because it is from the one whom you love; and to Allāh belongs the best example."

“Ibn al Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“A person should spend an hour before bed for Allah, giving an account of his soul: what loss he suffered today and what income he gained today. Then he should renew repentance in front of Allah and fall asleep in the state of repentance. This should be done every night.”
Repentance is among the key heart softeners a servant of Allah can resort to when softening their heart and remaking their lives for the better. Sadness and loneliness in the heart is often a direct consequence of the sins a person commits. Remembering Allah, the hereafter, and death are impediments to sinning.
Imam al Shafi’i رحمه الله remarked: “There is a verse in the Quran that every wrongdoer should be terrified of.”
He was asked, “which verse is that?”
He replied: “And your Lord never forgets.” [19:64]”

Imām Bukhārī’s respect for hadīth.

Imām Bukhārī once went to see a man in order to hear a Ḥadīth.

The man’s horse had run away from him and stood at a distance.

To make the horse walk towards him he lifted his shirt and acted as if he had barley inside it and began to tempt the animal, this made the animal come back to him, allowing the man to catch it.

Imām Bukhārī asked the man if he really did have barley in his shirt, to which the reply was: “No, I only did it to bring the horse back.”

Imām Bukhārī said: “By Allāh, I will not narrate from you! How can I take a blessed hadīth of the Holy Prophet from a man who lies to animals!?”

Prophet Dawud (عليه السلام), said: My Lord Almighty enjoined upon me nine traits.

• He enjoined me to honor him in privacy and in public.

• To be just in a time of anger or pleasure.

• To be moderate in a time of wealth or poverty.

• To reconcile with those who cut me off.

• To give to those who deprive me.

• To forgive those who wrong me.

• To let my observation be a lesson.

• To let my silence be reflection.

• To let my words be remembrance of Allaah.

You can discuss your problems with a 1000 people over and over again. You can tell them every single detail. But at the end, only Allah and you yourself can solve your problem. People are only good to just give a push up or motivation, the one to take action is YOU! So stop discussing stories with everyone and DO SOMETHING.

Reading The Qur’aan At The Graveyard

Shaykh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen [رحمه الله] said:

❝As for the graveyards then they are not a place for reading of the Qur’aan, but rather they are a place for giving Salam upon the dead and making Dua for them, not a place for making Dua, nor to make Dua to them.

So the deceased are not to be made Dua to, nor to make [general] Dua at their graveside. But rather Dua is made for them for mercy and forgiveness because they are in dire need of Dua.❞

The benefits of habitually listening to the Qurān when driving:

1. It will increase and strengthen your emān (Surat at-Tawbah: 124).
2. You will follow the Sunnah as the Messenger of Allah loved when the Quran was recited to him.
3. It will cause the Shaytan to flee from you.
4. It will take away the opportunity to commit sins (I.e. music, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
5. It will help you memorize and review what you have already memorized.
6. If you are studying Arabic language, it will aid you.

While you may see a man who possesses the characteristic of dignity and a brilliant mind, who rejoices in faith, is respectable in Islăm, and enjoys the beauty of the Qur'an, but if he listens to singing and inclines towards it, his mind will deteriorate as will his shyness, his manhood will disappear as will his brilliance, his dignity will be removed, and the Shaytan will be pleased with him.

CONTENTMENT..

If you are looking for wealth, somebody is looking for health..

If you are looking for health, somebody just died..

If you are looking for power, somebody has acquired and used it and now is powerless.

Each time you drive a fancy car, somebody, somewhere is dying in a car crash..

Each time a new mansion springs from the earth, a new grave is dug below the earth..

Each time you throw away a morsel, somewhere, somebody is searching for a morsel to survive..

Each time you throw food into dustbin, someone is looking for remnant to eat..

Each time you ask ALLAH to promote or change your present situation, someone is praying to get to your present situation..

For each smile on the planet, there's a drop of tear in another place on the planet..

For each celebration of childbirth, there are tears of burial..

Each time you urinate or drink water, remember someone is using pipe for same purpose..

The joy of life lies in knowing your limitations and your final and inevitable destination..

Be contented, and you are close to being the richest of all..

May Almighty ALLAH bless us with contentment as we focus on Him..

Let's remain grateful for what we have..

Alhumdullilah..

The inmates of Hell will gather round him and say: "What has happened to you, O so-and-so? Were you not enjoining us to do good and forbidding us to evil?"

He will reply: "I was enjoying you to do good, but was not doing it myself; and I was forbidding you to do evil, but was doing it my self."

Maulid, the celebration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), is not rooted in the teachings of Islam as established by the Prophet and his companions. The Prophet did not celebrate his own birthday, nor did he instruct his followers to do so. This practice, known as bid’ah, began approximately 500 years after the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Additionally, no one can confirm the exact date of his birth.

Instead of specific celebrations, if the 12th of Rabee’ al-Awwal reminds us of the Prophet (peace be upon him), we should honor him by practicing his Sunnah and living our lives according to his teachings. We should take him as our role model in relationships with family, friends, and even those with whom we may disagree. Let the essence of celebrating his life be integrated into our daily actions.

It is important to refrain from reciting poetry that exaggerates praise for the Prophet or attributes divine qualities to him, as well as from praying to him for intercession. Such practices are shirk, which is worse than merely celebrating by reading his life story, performing extra prayers, or sharing food and desserts.

The concept of celebrating Maulid is not traditionally a Sunni practice; it is more associated with Shi’ah communities and has gained popularity among later generations of Sufis. The best guidance is that of Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions, so let us adhere to their teachings when it comes to our beliefs and acts of worship.

Hadith on Salat :
**Set prayer rows in order* , *close the gaps*

Ibn Umar reported :

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said :

“ *Establish the rows for prayer, stand shoulder to shoulder, close the gaps, accommodate your brethren, and do not leave any breaches for Satan* .

*Whoever connects a row* , *Allah will connect with him* . *Whoever* *breaks a row* , *Allah will* *break from him* .”
