Learn silence for it is a beneficial skill and a fruitful path [to take].
It is not necessary that you have an opinion regarding every issue, nor that you have a statement regarding every affair, rather listening and enjoying is enough for you.
Some silence is stronger and sweeter than speech,
And the hardest of silence is that which opposes your desire for being seen and demonstrating your knowledge;
The Prophet ﷺ said in the hadith: "He who remained silent has been saved."

We have so many da'ees and duaat speaking about how it's okay to cry and complain while having sabr.
I would like to remind everyone that there is a also a different level of sabr where you feel okay not crying, where you feel okay not complaining and just accepting decree of Allah no matter how hard it is on your soul and being.
Many people deal with grief in silence on their own. They don't need to talk, they don't need to cry infront of others, they don't need to shout and scream, they don't need hugs and they don't need to rehash the loss.
❝The one who has patience is the one who has trained himself to handle difficulties.❞
- Abu Uthman
❝Patience means to keep close to Allah and to accept calmly the trails He sends, without complaining or feeling sad.❞
- Amr ibn Uthman al-Makki
All they need is alone time and all the need is more time reciting Quran, more time learning seerah, more time spending time with family.
❝Patience means to seek Allah's help.❞
- Ali ibn Abi Talib (ra)
❝Patience means to adhere to the rules of the Quran and Sunnah.❞
- Al - Khawwas
[Ibn Qayyum Al-Jawziyyah, Patience & Gratitude]
While we normalize crying and complaining whilst having sabr let's also normalize not talking and being alone while facing a hardship.
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
❝Panicking does not make the calamity go away. In fact, panicking makes the calamity more difficult.❞
[Zaad al-maad 4/189]
These Muslims are not emotionless and they have not hardened up. They have a different way of dealing with trials and calamities. They would rather make dua than talk to people, they would rather give charity, rather spend time reflecting over Quran.
🤲 May Allah grant us beautiful patience at the first strike of calamity and make it an expiation for our major and minor sins - Allahumma ameen!
❝Patience is that the heart does not feel anger towards that which is destined and that the mouth does not complain.❞
— Ibn Qayyim al-Jawiyyah (raḥimahullāh)

For this reason, the pious make good use of all the time they have, trading good deeds at the marketplace of worship and therefore abandoning worldly pleasures."

Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Islam will be taken apart just as a garment is taken apart, until fasting is not known, nor prayer, nor rites, nor charity. The book of Allah Almighty will vanish in a single night, such that no verse of it is left on earth. There will only remain some sects among people, old men and women who say, ‘We know our forefathers said there is no god but Allah, so we say it as well.’”

How come we claim to love one another for the sake of Allaah, but then do not tolerate a genuine mistake or a misunderstanding? Loving one another for the sake of Allaah doesn’t mean that we see eye to eye and agree with each other in every matter.
When we are upon the same Deen, same
❝And in this, there is an indication that the ones who love one another for the sake of Allaah, nothing from the matters of the Dunya breaks (or interferes in) their love for the sake of Allaah. They love each other for the sake of Allaah and nothing separates them except death. Even if one wrongs the other, or falls short on fulfilling the rights of the other, this still does not affect them because their love is for the sake of Allaah عز وجل; but he does try to correct him, and points out to him where he has fallen short, as this is part of the perfection of Naseehah. May Allaah make us and the Muslims love one another for His sake, helping one another in righteousness and piety. Indeed, He is Jawaad, Kareem.❞

THIS IS OUR REAL AGE
We often think that our age on earth is measured in days, months and years. However, did we know that our true age is not how long we live, but how many good deeds we do.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"From Abdurrahman bin Abu Bakrah, from his father, that a man said, 'O Messenger of Allah, who is the best human being?' He answered, 'People who live long and have good deeds.' He asked again, 'Then who is the worst person?' He answered, 'People who live long and have bad deeds.'” (HR Tirmidhi: 2330).
Long life in the world does not necessarily bring blessings if we do not use it well. On the contrary, a short life but filled with pious deeds, prayer, dhikr, kindness to others, and devotion to Allah ﷻ, is what is valuable in His sight.
Remember that our time in this world is limited, and we never know when Allah ﷻ will call us back. So, use every second of our life for good. That is the age that will actually be eternal, not only in this world, but until the afterlife.
Let's make meaning of this life with practices that continue to bring us the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. May we be among His servants who are given blessings in our age, time and deeds.

"When a person spends his entire day with no other concern but Allah alone, Allah, may He be glorified, will take care of all his needs and take care of all that is worrying him; He will empty his heart so that it will be filled only with love for Him, free his tongue so that it will speak only in remembrance of Him (dhikr) and cause all his faculties to work only in obedience to Him. But if a person spends his entire day with no other concern but this world, Allah will make him bear its distress, anxiety and pain; He will leave him to sort himself out, and cause his heart to be distracted from the love of Allah towards the love of some created being, cause his tongue to speak only in remembering people instead of remembering Allah, and cause him to use his talents and energy in obeying and serving them. So he will strive hard, labouring like some work-animal, to serve something other than Allah… Everyone who turns away from being a true slave of Allah and obeying Him and loving Him will be burdened with servitude, love and obedience to some created being. Allah says (interpretationof the meaning):
'And whosoever turns away (blinds himself) from the remembrance of the Most Beneficent (Allah), We appoint for him a Shaytaan (devil) to be a qareen (intimate companion) to him.'

Habits that Can Bring True Happiness
Many people, whenever they feel boredom, respond to this feeling by overthinking or engaging in addictive activities. How you respond to this inner signal reflects your purpose in life and how you manage your emotions.
Take boredom as an inner signal; it depends on how you respond to it. If you follow the majority, you will likely feel even more boredom, indicating that this strategy is not effective for dealing with it.
Nowadays, people experience more boredom than before. During the time of the Salaf, they valued time greatly, considering it a more valuable asset than anything else. However, they did not complain about boredom. In contrast, people today often give the common excuse that they are busy, yet they experience extreme levels of boredom when addictive activities are removed from their lives.
Test yourself: we shouldn’t deceive ourselves. Remove addictive behaviors from your life and see how you feel. This is the true reality of your own self. Have you ever discovered your true reality?
So how can we respond to this inner signal in the right way?
- Instead of checking social media, we should design our phones to prompt us to check the Quran first; reading one ayah with tafsir is sufficient.
- Instead of always calling friends, we should seek forgiveness and organize our thoughts on paper.
- Instead of always playing nasheeds, we should listen to beautiful recitations of the Quran.
These habits may seem easy to build, but they require effort to maintain consistency. Focus on one habit at a time, and you will notice changes in your emotions, thoughts, and khushu in worship by the permission of Allah.

Beware of attaching Islam to creating content just to earn fame. In the same way, beware of making content about Islam while displaying yourself in public. Muslimāt are to be hidden. We are not for public display. Leave the public da’wah to men.
Disclaimer: Most of the Muslim women who display themselves in public for da’wah purposes are not Salafiyyah. They are content creators who do not understand hijab in the first place. Check their backgrounds and you'll see how there’s a defect in their Aqeedah.
You see how nasheeds hover over their accounts, free-mixing at its peak, and many other wrong influences that the lay women confused to be good acts of deeds. Beware of supporting the Ahlul Bid’ah just because they wear abayas. Beware of giving admiration to women who are despised by Allah.
Shaykh Muhammad Saeed Raslan حفظه الله said,
“So take heed, especially in these times, whom you sit with, hear and befriend. If you see from any person an innovation, then beware from him; for indeed what he is hiding from his misguidance is greater than what he shows.”
Fudayl Ibn Iyad said, “Whoever sits with people of innovations will not be given wisdom.” (Reported by Lalakai, Abu Nuaym, and Bayhaqi)
And he said, “Whoever loves a person of innovation, Allah will erase his good deeds, and remove the light of Islam from his heart.” (Reported by Ibn Battah, Bayhaqi, and Lalakai)
